Why would they select Wiseman if they weren't trading Mitch (which I agree that aren't trading him) instead of a PG or wing? Wiseman to Knicks is not happening IMHO.

Wiseman looks good no question and you can see his potential. But one has to question why wouldn't a sweet 7ft shooting center not be a sure #1, #2 or #3? Why do some mocks even have him dropping to 5-6?
Then to top it off, trade a proven perhaps generationally elite defensive 7ft rim protector, runner and cornerstone PLUS draft picks?

Nah, it doesn't seem plausible and not, IMO, what big time dealers like Leon Rose and World Wide Wes would do.

The same as it was in college. Guys can get into better shape and add weight, but they’re not gonna become a dead eye shooter during this break. Methinks some of these Twitter scouts need their report cards brought out.

6+ months is a lot of time to work on your shot

look at RJ for example, his forms looks different than it was last season. Vassell too, unfortunately for the worse. RJ Hampton, for the better

theses players are putting in work to get ready for the NBA and boost their draft stock. w/ shooting being the main concern with Okoro, hard to imagine he hasn't made that a priority in his workouts

None of these offseason Twitter videos can tell you if the shot’s gonna drop during games. Every year and it’s the same thing. I remember when WCS was draining threes and dudes here were sold on his shot. Same people- every year. There’s just too much time and too many videos this year. Find someone you trust, examine their track record, and look at their scouting reports.

Yup they announced a list of combine precipitates a few weeks ago and they’re letting teams have private workouts with 10 players only for 4 1/2 hours each.

He's not a good shooter and he does pass up shots for drives, but he still did have a 3PA rate of 28.8% so he's not a non-shooter

He always had a high release but now he has taken that to another level that’s why it’s so noticeable now

You think he's made an adjustment? I think it might be a perspective thing cuz I've never seen him shoot from courtside before. Cuz he's always had the double movement jumper. It's crazy cuz it looks like the ball goes completely behind his head now.

Yeah he def made an adjustment. This is what his old jumper looked like

Now his new shot has him going way behind his head to shoot it.

It looks like he's passing over a trap.
