No offensive line, no Defense, that’s not how you win in the NFL playoffs.

I don’t think Dan Quinn and his Defense are the one, and Washington will likely have to find a new offensive coordinator to boot.

We just won 12 games dude lighten up

Obviously they didn't inherit much of a roster and they couldn't rebuild it completely in one year.

However they do have some good pieces. Our starting center and guards are good so when you say we have no offensive line I have to wonder if you've actually watched the games. Tackle is an issue as are the backups.

On D Wagner and Luvu have been good. Newton has been good especially for a rookie. Ditto sainristil.

But we have our QB and that is the most important thing.

Eh, I mean we're ranked top 10 in defense if I remember right. We bent but didn't break on defense tonight. I think we have a chance against the Rams or Bucs but no shot past that unless something catastrophic starts happening to other teams. Jordan Love for example got hurt today.

Aren't they on a 5-game win streak?

It's been a perfect storm of good things so far for the Commanders.

JD5 can win.

I won't put anything past this team.

The Commanders finished tied with the Ravens with the 6th best record in the NFL.

Perhaps not relevant to playoffs but Mariota's run on 4th down, wow. What a great play.
Gives me hope that if JD5 got hurt, we'd still have a chance.

On the season our point differential was +94, only 6 behind the Vikings and 35 better than the Chiefs.

I don't believe in jinxes so I dare say (so far, knock on wood) we have been a team of destiny.
Of course, that could all end with the next game. But it's been a lot of fun
speaking as an old BALTIMORE Colts fan.

Explanation- My fam lived in AA county Severna Park until 1966.
I was then 9 so just as I was becoming NFL aware, I lived in Colts territory during the
Unitas era. I saw the first and last game at Mem stadium in 1983, the last season.
Great Balt bumper sticker - I speed up for Robert Irsay.

Happy to start rooting for the Cmannders and the Ravens too. When Irsay
moved the Colts I became a free agent.

I hate to doom, but kind of expecting a loss incoming. Would love to be wrong, but Baker carved us up earlier this year and I don't really see that changing. Hopefully we can keep up in a shootout.

They're playing with house money now. It would be great to get a win so JD5 has that under his belt and gets another playoff game for experience after that.

This is a much better D than the one Mayfield faced the first week of the season. Finished top 5 in the NFL in pass defense.

If Lattimore doesn’t play, I’m not expecting a win. If he goes though, walk out of a Tampa with the dub. Lattimore OWNS Evans. Great season none the less. Will be legit contenders next season. May set up nicely for this team to avoid the cold outdoors this playoffs though…

Yup. Starting corners for that game were Forbes and St. Juste. Now the best two corners are Lattimore and Sainristil. Bucs do have an improved running game and Jalen McMillen has stepped. But the Bucs are also now without Godwin and are dealing with injuries in their secondary.

Lattimore got THREE PASS INTERFERENCE CALLS in one quarter.

Then he got hurt again.

I have zero faith in him.
