Would we even want Paul George as a bench guy for the minimum?

No way. We need minutes for Walsh and Baylor.
Jordan Walsh > Lonnie Walker and Charles Bassey

Yes, if he'd commit to staying ready.

Chuma Okeke non tendered by ORL. He’d be really interesting for the Brissett role IMO.

Thank you for not suggesting one of the centers that has no clue how to play NBA basketball and is worse than all the big men the Celtics already have under contract like everybody else. But the shooting is trending down every season for some reason and makes him currently unplayable.

Surprised Washington cut ties with Tristan Vucevic. I thought he looked good when I saw them on league pass last few weeks of the season, and I specifically watched to check in on him because I was intrigued with him as a potential 2nd round pick last draft.
Anyway, looks like he’s a free agent now and he can really shoot it at 7 feet.

Saric or the in-house options.
But realistically Brad will prob get some random unknown 26 year old if anyone.

Re: Free Agent, Trade & Extensions Thread, 2024-25
I sure hope we bring back Queta. Could we not have both picked up his option (guaranteeing that he'll be on the team) and then negotiated a new deal as they are with Hauser? It just seems like it unnecessarily introduces the possibility of not having him back.
Maybe it's a CBA thing that I don't understand and it's a mere formality that a new deal gets done soon. I just like sure things, and now there's an element of doubt.
Bring back Queta!

I liked him before last year's Draft. Worth a look see, most definitely.
He's noted for having six cars and a grizzly bear.
Lives down the river somewhere...

This is BS. Why didn't they do the same thing with Hauser? They are going to lose Queta because he'll get a decent offer elsewhere.

We will see what happens but im guessing there is more risk of Sam getting a big contract on the open market than Queta. You can take more risk with Queta because Sam is part of the top 8 and less replaceable
