Glenn is never to be trusted again.
Why is that?
Outside of his relationship w/ Maggie, his loyalty is suspect. I didn't like the way he undermined Rick in the church.
He is also his own man and doesn't owe Rick anything. Like Glenn said "it's not your call."

I connect with this show alot lol. I started out going to predominantly white schools. In park slope ratio was like 1-4 blacks 1-3 hispanic and 1-2 asain. Then to a predominantly black high school at bishop loughlin. Now living in Nassau where my sons are usually the only black kid in the class. I dont try to get all Black-ish on them though lol.

They didn't have a choice. They were chasing the vehicle that kidnapped Beth last season.
I'm curious as to who that person was hiding behind the bush at the end of the episode.
Calling it right now:

Anyone else would have likely came out at the same time as Daryl, especially Carol and Morgan. I don't recall Morgan ever meeting Daryl so he definitely seems unlikely to me.

Yeah, Rick was right though. All he had to do was bring up Exhibit A (the Governor) for why there should be "no half measures." Perhaps a cameo speech on the subject by Mike Ehrmantrout would have changed Glenn's perspective? lol

What did Rick prove by butchering them so violently compared to just offing them? Both scenarios would be a finality and not a half measure. I think that's why they got those weird looks.

Are you saying you wouldn't be a little extra angry if someone just ate a piece of your friend?

To answer your question then, Rick proved he was very upset with Gareth and his buddies.

If Glen was in charge, the whole group would have been killed a long, long time ago.

Re: OT: THE WALKING DEAD SEASON 5 (NO SPOILERS)
For anyone who is a fan of the graphic novel AND the series:
The gist of the graphic novel to me is RICK's reaction, along the line of "how Rick reacts - what does that say about human choices in society and situation", while the TV series, though Rick is the main character, I guess by necessity there is more focus on the other characters and interactions. Not to be a spoiler, but the way other characters drop like flies while Rick keeps chugging along, it's clear in the GN that it's RICK's journey.
In the GN he's almost an allegory, just about a christ figure (not sold on my idea here, just if anyone else got that whiff)
Also, and again, it comes through more clearly in the GN, I felt like there is some investigation on the beginnings of human organization into societies and parts that feel medieval- First organizing into small groups, nomadic, then the Governor, then the Prison, then Terminus, then, well, what comes later, where it's like Counts, Dukes and Arch Dukes and Kings etc - each "organized" living situation, if it's bigger, has a more violent leader\charismatic leader, which is how I imagined medieval society to be.
I'm not 100% on these opinions, they have popped up while reading/watching.

I guess that's my problem with the Walking Dead story. There isn't much of an arc or plot to it. Interchangeable parts / characters who chug along. No one wins, everyone loses. Very nihilisitc. What is the point other than watching people get butchered, while cool as hell, cannot be the major/only selling point?
EDIT: I also watch Homeland and Boardwalk but I always watch TWD first off my DVR if football is on. The former two are better shows for sure but I do enjoy the hell out of TWD despite the flaws I stated.

That was a father overhearing a cannibal who considered eating Judith.

My friend, that doesn't answer my question! I know he went wild but I'm asking what does it prove.
