Melo is at his absolute best when he plays within the flow, spots up for kickouts, etc.

Sure, he would likely rarely suit up, but he would be a great practice big. You know that guy will go 110% all the time. That's something that I think guys Nature Boy (N'Dour) and Plumlee would be able to bring to the team.
I always like when we have someone on the team that you might seriously question if they have a screw loose in their head at times (In a good way.. not the complete lack of B-Ball IQ resulting in complete headscratching plays type of screw loose)
Like when we brought in KMart... I love that type of ish. A crazy S.O.B that takes no B.S. Hopefully Noah can stay healthy enough to be that type of player for the starting lineup
I thought Lou Amundson could fill Lou Amundson's role.
Well, if I had to pick b/t the two I would rather have the younger energy big that has two brothers in the league.
I knew he had T-Rex arms, but didn't know he had some bounce! Dem boys can jump

The clippers have made the playoffs the last 5 years in a row and they're playing one of the best teams ever assembled. If you want to make a bad passively aggressive comparison.. mission accomplished. You been on this forum huffing and puffing defending Carmelo's Knicks tenure for the same last 5 years.. have you had a chance to look back at it?
But should the Clippers really be down almost 60 points midway through the 3rd?

I hear ya. He's got a lot of energy and not afraid of contact. If the front office decided to go with him, I'm cool with that. I just think he could use this time to hone his game in Westchester while we keep Amundson, a veteran, at the end of the bench.

Preseason is not when you(we) need him

I agree 100% with that. I just hope that since we gave him a "guaranteed" contract he would decide to sign with our D-League team if he was beaten out for a spot by someone like Lou/N'Dour. I actually think that might be one of the reasons they gave guaranteed contracts to some of those young guys, so that they would be more inclined to stick with our D-League team and grow in a system similar to what the actual team would be running.
I will tell you what though, I was surprised by his play. He looked a lot better in this game than the limited time I saw him in the Summer League.

It shouldn't. O'quinn needs to play better soon. Dude has been a bust here so far. This is NOT nice Kyle.
