I don't understand why anyone is surprised that a guy holding the position of Director of Basketball Operations got the new GM position. It's not like he was an agent or something.

I really want to know what kept Edens from moving forward with Zanik. I really was excited to see what he could do with this roster.

I think they panicked and couldn't make a decision so they decided to keep JH as the GM.
