Re: Buyouts
I'd think about Markieff. Pairing him with his brother could give a nice morale boost to both.
Plus, it would be a nice way to demote Morris to the bench "so they can play together" (and starting Hayward or Jaylen) without further locker room problems.
Finally Morris might agree to a sign and trade that would send both brothers to the Pelicans next year.

Re: Buyouts
Markieff sounds right. Maybe gave a Tatum guarantee if NOP snagged him from the Wiz and bought him out. Seems plausible. Then both can sign and go to NOP in the Davis deal. Everyone wins.

Re: Buyouts
I’d like Kanter still. Not sure he would do a two year MLE though.

Re: Buyouts
It'll probably be Markieff if bought out, but Kanter would be huge for the Celts and would likely be what they thought they were getting with Moose (and Okafor) last year. He's a very talented to big that seems to care about winning all of the sudden. His toughness and fiery personality could also be a good thing for Boston who doesnt really have a vocal leader.. Theres Kyrie who talks out of both sides of his mouth.. Moody Jaylen, Quiet Horford and detached Hayward

Re: Buyouts
Hoping Ellington or DAJ. Don't think DAJ would take a 2 year MLE though.

Re: Buyouts
I think Dedmon would be down with a 2 year MLE.

0% chance DAJ would go to Boston on his own accord. He'll be a Rocket

Re: Buyouts
The Celtics only have the taxpayer MLE, not the full one.

NYk wanted him to entice Durant there. Maybe he wants to come here for that reason?

Robin Lopez...we will be facing 2/3 Brook Lopez, Gasol and Embid...Lopez would be great.

My top two as well. Preference is DAJ if he'd take a deal. He could be a huge impact for the Celtics come playoff time when we're facing Toronto, Milwaukee or Philly.
I like Ellington as well. At least he always seems to play well against the Celtics. Don't to see him on the 76ers getting those wide open looks.

Brown is needed.
It’s Tatum/Brown/Yabu/buyout MLE and a boatload of picks
Or S&T of Terry starting around $16M/year and declining so he's worth $8M going out.

Come on down and get your taxpayer MLE with a chance at $5.6M and a trip to lovely New Orleans next year!

Re: Buyouts
Wonder if Jeff Green gets bought out? I'd take him as well. Then Danny can flip him for AD instead of a 1st rounder this time.

He would have to agree to it and he would only do that if the Pelicans promised him the starting gig
