That's not the end of story. The reports said he wont sign because he thinks Kyrie is leaving. If Kyrie stays this summer, AD is likely to open them up as a destination.

It seems very clear that AD is looking to be in the biggest market - LA or nyc. He has seen that he can be the foundation of a winning team alone and imagines himself with kd or whatever.
