I think we will make a hard push for Matthews selling him on the exposure of a deep playoff run and maybe do a timeshare with Danny.

Matthews hasn't cleared waivers or signed anything with the pacers yet. There is time to change his mind. It would be a coup if Masai/Webster could snag him as well.

We have the taxpayer MLE to add Matthews which is 5.2M.

The moves we made opened up 6.3M of salary.

We pitched him in free agency in 2015. Hopefully it left a positive impression.

I’m completely honest when I say this - Bruno could use a roster spot. The guy had a super strong season in the G League and has looked like an NBA player. I wouldn’t trust him in the playoffs, but I would take a shot on a rest of season deal with one of the open spots.

As priorities

1. Best 3 point shooter we can get - Ellington, Stauskas,
2. Best rebounding F we can get. A SF/PF not a C. Someone we can play in many different lineup if we need a rebounding boost.
3. Boucher - just to hang on to a developmental piece who is almost out of 2 way days
4. Malcolm Miller - really like his game think he can be a CJ replacement at the edge of the rotation down the road. Someone else will sign him to a 10 day if we don't bring him up. Maybe we can two way him if we convert Boucher and don't have a roster spot. I think Miller is more useful this season though.
