i wrote yesterday: sorry to say, but if you play against a real double threat inside offensively and defensively this team is undermatched.
ayton + saric and ayton + crowder will not work against davis + gasol or other bigs who are capable of scoring in multiple ways.
griffin + grant + even plumlee were outplaying our rotation.
saric is not and will not be a good enough defender. when has the jumper in that game - asewom.
all of our bigs have bad hands, can not finish explosivley and are finesse guys.
suns will live and die with their production from the wings.
booker regressed big time.

look what sabonis is doing to ayton and company

Giving up offensive rebounds off of free throws is unacceptable and just lazy. Has already happened twice this quarter

I think I would trade ayton for sabonis straight up, ayton has way more skill and potential but none of that matters because I'm not sure he has the desire to ever be anything more than what he is now.

He's a 'lead by example' leader who plays with nothing but heart. Had a bad game yesterday so is working his ass off ON BOTH ENDS to make amends while not being a selfish stat padder. Wants the team to win.

Of course...Sabonis is a legit all star and phenomenal passer. Though I will say Ayton was better as a 2nd year player and will probably be better as a 3rd year player. So he's got two years to see if he can be as good in his 5th year.

I don't think he has more skill.Sabonis can legitimately face up, post up, hit from mid range, and shoot 3's.Ayton moves like a 35 yr old until you see him play perimeter defense.That's the only thing impressive about him.Sabonis is smoking him skill wise.
