Damn.
Rewatched Yuta get his soul snatched.
In the grand scheme of things, the dunk and Edwards actual line tonight encapsulates what the Twolfs are.

His criteria for who gets playing time is completely nonsensical. He'll keep a guy like McCaw in for 25 MPG last year, while he scores 0 points, gets you 1 assist, and does his best Calderon imitation on defence. But as soon as Davis makes a single mistake on defence, no matter how well he's playing otherwise, he gets glued to the bench for the next 5 games.

I think the worst thing about the situation is these people are trying to convince themselves that Davis actually isn't a good player.
Davis has played like ass all year. Tonight's game doesn't make him a "good" player. It makes him a player that had a good game.
Everybody is losing their freaking minds. Nutbars and wingnuts have infested this forum. We've become a public lavatory without cleaning staff.

If you were coaching a team, you wouldn't play your son more minutes?

That was disgusting. On the same tier as Lebron on Jason Terry, and DeAndre Jordan on Brandon Knight.

We have a glaring hole at the C position! Embiid is going to feast on us!

Talked to him briefly before the Spurs game last year in SA. He took the time to chat with me and a couple from Calgary. Only Raptor to do that. Nice guy.
I was at that game! The day Kobe died

And he played great last year. He's played more good basketball than bad in his career.

While I agree with your sentiment, it isn't the worst part. The worst part is people jumping to conclusions and assuming a man is guilty before his day in court. Like I mentioned in another thread, had a friend be hounded down by the crown for over 2 years, stripped of all of his rights, and destroyed his life over a bogus charge. Charges ended up being dropped and he was able to overcome his alcoholism and depression eventually. We've gone down a slippery slope as a society. People are quick to shittalk Davis and call him "redacted" yet the same people are probably huge Kobe Bryant fans (RIP btw). Can't have it both ways, can you? We don't know what happened. Charges have been dismissed so let's support him.

You do not sound terribly confident in the Baynes/JoJo matchup

I think it's frustrating for Nick because he knows Davis won games for us last season, and did again tonight. But Nick simply can't play him if he's going to be a perpetual foul/TO machine. So close to being a young star who can greatly help his team ... and yet so far.
Hopefully, Davis's problems in the bubble and this season were all mental, and the resolution of the court case will help in this regard.

Where did you sit?
Yeah man, that was depressing af. I missed out on our championship run and decided to splurge on really nice seats while I was in SA for work. I was enjoying myself pregame and then I heard the news filter through the arena. Why can't I have nice things? I couldn't enjoy the game afterwards.
