There are still vaccination holdouts, I am simply curious if the Bulls had a couple of holdouts (like Beal for example).

I remember reading an article near the beginning of the season that stated they were 100% vaccinated.

You are right. The Bulls were completely vaccinated within a month of starting the season.

"Now, only three weeks into the season, the team has given themselves a competitive advantage. Not only is each player best protected from the severity of COVID-19, but no person will have to follow the league’s strict set of protocols."

Wait! The Bulls are getting a competitive advantage because of Covid. That is outrageous. And the League is not doing anything about it???

Good news for Bulls fans is that if they are vax'd, the odds of severe symptoms are very low so they should be back quick.

Bulls are a fully vaccinated team. Not sure about boosters though.

Btw, LaVine and Troy Brown now have it. They’re down 9 players.

95% of the league is vaxed, so I'm sure all of the Bulls are.

If severe symptoms are very low with the vaxed, then why are we so afraid of spread?

Because it can mutate, because not all kids can get a shot yet, because people that are immune compromised or have underlying health issues can still get severe covid which is more likely to be deadly. It's not rocket science.

Everything u said is just applicable to any airborne virus that has been around, e.g. flu. They all can mutate (and do), not to mention none of which had the level of vaccination covid has on the population.

And when you are immune compromised or can't get vaxed for any reason, it's probably never a good idea to attend a mass crowd event regardless of the pandemic in the first place. At some point, people need to look at the fatality rate, get back to their normal life, and not assume everything must be clean-room. Get your vaccine, stay home if ur actually sick, wear a mask in crowded event, but put down your tinfoil hat. It's not rocket science.

Don't worry, I will. My team just won the championship & will have built a cushion to make the playoffs regardless, in spite of having their own non-covid attrition already.

The vaccine doesn't prevent you from getting and spreading Covid.

I think Coby was just activated from the covid list.

I just hope they all make a speedy and full recovery. Dealing with my own bout of covid currently, it sucks.

Coby in, Alize out.

Only a matter of time before Lonzo and Vucevic test positive.

Vucevic had it already less than a month ago.

Bulls have 10 players in protocols now. Need 8 to play. Maybe Coby can play Tuesday? They'll need to go on a signing spree unless NBA grants them the ability to delay the game.

If they make the Bulls play the games despite having 8-9 players unavailable and have to bring guys off the street or from the g league fine. It is what it is for 10-14 days.

This is setting a precedent for other teams though that even if they do not have 2/3 of their roster due to Covid, they are expected to do the same. They should not be allowed to postpone games. I do not want to see a team given preferential treatment because of their market or star power with clout that can make a phone call to Silver and given slack.

I think we are seeing a real life example that boosters are in fact very necessary since NBA players were mostly vaccinated early on. Not sure either but would like to know, and would love to know how many are isolated thourgh contract tracing only (shorter time out for sure).

Also would wonder what vaccination did most NBA players get? Were they 2 shot of Moderna/Pfizer or did they go for the 1 shot J&J?

Some of these guys tested positive over a week ago now, so should be back within the next 3 days.

Either 3 days or if they produce two negative tests.
