I know the Celtics like to guard him with Al, Rob, Grant, Jaylen, Jayson, Marcus, etc. but I want at least the OPTION of sending someone out there — maybe just for a few minutes — who is **** large. They can even be really large and mostly useless. Just to mix it up. And no, Kornet does NOT count here)

Agreed. Why not a counter-giant specialist? Some of these guys' success is simply dominating with size. That can be neutralized - and even if they're a zero on offense, that can mitigate defensive impact (congrats Kareem, you held Mark Eaton to 5 pts)

According to Jared Weiss in The Athletic:
The Celtics summer-league roster will feature former first-round pick Udoka Azubuike, according to a team source who was granted anonymity because they were not authorized to speak on the record.

On paper I like Jarace Walker as a more practical version of Zion. If I had the top pick, I prob would have tried to trade down and target Walker.

I agree …. I think he reminds me of a Gerald Wallace with a decent 3 pt shot….hence the misspelling.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

If they leave a couple spots open, that makes room for Madar to pop in for a cup of tea. I'm happy to hear he wants to be here. And why wouldn't he -- the team is down a PG, maybe two, and is again a favorite to win it all. He could be a contributor. Will be nice tp see him competing with Davison. Very different styles.

IDK if Madar would accept a Two-Way spot. But, we have 3 up for grabs. Assuming that Davison makes the NBA Roster.

If he can come and show that he's more than a 2-Way (which he should be) it's up to him to prove it. I think there is going to be some high competition in summer league this year, internally for Boston.

Sadly, this is the first time I have heard his name, except from me, this whole off season. How can a team just let a 25-year-old, 6'10 center, who was on the 2nd team ALL NBA G-league and averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds, and over 1 block a game over 27 games walk away without even a camp invite is just crazy to me. Especially with the health problems with RW3 and Big Al's age, just doesn't make sense to me. But it is what it is.

I was a little surprised Gele didn’t get any burn at all last season. He definitely has a skill set. He is also definitely lost and a bit aloof a good amount of the time. Saw him in Portland a lot and he’s spacey, game I think still moves pretty quick for him which as an almost 26 year old, you don’t love to see.

Is there a chance, however slim, that Aleksander Balcerowski can make the roster? I have never heard of him but judging by Youtube highlights he looks like he can be a decent 4th big for an NBA team.
