He never said Murray, and I don’t know who for sure he was talking about. I just heard what I heard… in my younger days would’ve 100% followed him and eavesdropped, but I’m visiting family with my family and that just wasn’t going to happen.

There aren't any other Dejountes out there though. Maybe you misheard him?

In other news, the Bucks are sending Giannis a message about leaving. Kareem's # has been unretired & ROLO will take up #33 on his jersey this year.

This led me to the Bucks roster page, which has Alex Antetokounmpo listed, which I didn't notice the last time I visited like a week ago. I just... don't think there's a good explanation for that. After the TyTy signing, we have 20. So is this a mistake by the web team? Are we cutting somebody? Trying not to jump to the conclusion that THIS is what Giannis was agitating for with the NYT. Which: golly. Kid hasn't shown he belongs in the G League yet.

We have one camp spot still open. Maybe we gave it to him

I go back and forth on Mitchell. He hasn't performed well in a lot of playoff games recently but all of these teams are built around him. Outside of Garland the Cavs were always short on other, creative offensive options, the same could be said for the Jazz. Would be interested to see him in the Jrue role on offense as 2nd option.

I’d imagine SAS has similar hopes for Tre Jones who also kind of fits your statement here.. any freshman guards that come from powerhouse universities usually figure it out and turn out to be useful NBA players to say the least. I’m hopeful we struck gold here with Washington. He showed some flash as a 20yr old rookie and can definitely play. A year in a system like ours should do him plenty good and maybe he’s our PG of the future. Weirder stuff has certainly happened right?

Should add that the Bucks quickly signed and waived Alex last offseason, basically giving him 50k. This could be that again.

We're flush with marginal guard prospects at this point, but looking in the transaction logs for Alex and noticed that the Wizards waived Quenton Jackson last month. Better prospect than Wiggs. Would still prefer to go big with Garuba for the 3rd 2 way.

Meh. Is Kira Lewis better than Ty Washington Jr tho? I’m not really sure. Even if he is, the difference isn’t Grayson Allen.

This is all just gossip and who knows it could've been a guy in a Bucks polo talking about fantasy football.

But, Dejounte also could've easily been Devonte.

Could be they are discussing a three team trade.

"We think Dejounte is worth more than that" could mean Dejounte is payment for something they want from another team but that other team doesn't agree with his value. It would be weird to talk about a trade you feel you are winning by saying that.

We were already linked to Sexton. Sexton and Murray make about the same. Utah wouldn't want anything we have, Atlanta would. Thats my guess.

Without hearing anything else I would bet it was about fantasy football.

The way I'm looking at Tyty is that we just got a young PG as the 29th pick in the '22 draft. Even better he's on a 2way contract. Just plenty of talent to work with , smart player in the exact position we need.

Would be kind of funny if the Bucks went all in on Mitchell, he looked great during the regular season then he turned into Jrue in the postseason.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
