I like moving Moe into the SL
Goga can slide right into 2nd unit.

So you have da Silva over Bitadze then?
I mean, a Goga/Moe 5/4 lineup works even better but I want to see the the TDS Black Jett take off

Like another poster previously stated when you were already elite at defense, adding a small marginal, another defensive player and ignoring your horrible offense, does not improve you all that much overall. It does not matter how many points we hold the opponent to if we cannot outscore them

Our defense still isn’t that great. But I have no issue with the idea of bringing in another high level defender. What is silly is dedicating such a large amount of money to a guy like Pope. Could have gotten a Thybulle type for a lot less. Pope was an overpay the minute it happened, but it’s even worse now.

Since we’ve signed so many of our guys can new contracts and the addition of KCP, what is the timetable for who is tradable at what date during the season?

it seems to be forgotten that sometimes a good defense can be a really good offense

We literally cannot fit any rookies on the roster without trading some of our recent picks, so tanking is kinda pointless.

This really, really sucks for Paolo.

I expect this to be the case.

Isaac doesn't play enough basketball to be tasked with starting duties. Just not happening with how his minutes are managed. However, I don't know why they wouldn't just start Carter at the 4 alongside Goga - if healthy. I dont see Franz as super capable underneath the basket against most PF and Centers.

We’re supposed to be in an era now where we no longer even think about rookies being anything meaningful for us. The value of draft picks IMO should only be trade pieces for established role players to complete the roster.

This where I'm at as well as the bandaid I'm comfortable with. Wish Carter could dig back deeply into his days where he played like a big guy And put people in the post. Lol. He did pretty decently at the power forward position alongside Mo Bamba before we got Paolo. (Statistically on of his best seasons and his defense might have been at his best)

Ball movement and player movement will be the key.

Another thing I was thinking about is moving KCP to the bench also.... To get more playmaking with black. Situationally it could make sense.

I really like AB and see his defensive strength out there, but we all see his offense weakness. Trust me when I say this, but we are doing him a huge disservice not having a veteran pg in there to teach him. You can’t throw the kid to the fire and say go learn on your own on the fly when we have nobody there to teach him

Yeah, I should have edited that to be AB starting at point guard next to Suggs with KCP off the bench. But I think that lineup makes more sense than AB at the "3" and Franz at the "4". Defense is going to take a huge hit if they run that out IMO. So your lineup to me makes the most sense. They wont do it though. Theyll just start KCP and just move everyone down a spot.

Sucks, but every crisis is also opportunity to grow. We will have a look how Franz surrounded with shooters performs.
I think Black will stay on the bench becouse he is our only competent ball handler ( i dont count Cole as competent).Harris TDS or Howard will start. I dont think it will be Moe becouse he need JI to cover for him and he also cant play big minutes.

Suggs/Howard/KCP/Wagner/Carter
Black/Harris/TDS/Isaac/Wagner

I picked Howard becouse he has the most 1vs1 and space creation ability.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Black / Suggs / Franz as the new trio. Do it Mose. Time to make Black an all-star caliber player.

@eyriq, where are you at?

I'm on the "start JI" bandwagon. JI is our 3rd best player now and has to start.

I want a bench of AB/Harris/Jett/TDS/Moritz. That core looked great in the summer league and them getting reps together will be poetry in motion.

Edit: had a typo, meant TDS not KCP

My guess is that they start Jett and move Cole back into the rotation.

Time for guys to step up and not be scared of the moment. If guys start to crap the bed it may be more of an indictment about the roster construction by the front office.
