It's about time you guys finished this draft, took you guys like a few days, what the hell.

Ok, so who wants to trade all their good players to me for all my bad players? Thats a joke obviously because I have no bad players.

Time to start that prospect draft CelticsFan21. I'll help out Mauve and Kaz if need be and sosafan can help you out.

No offense Kaz, because I like your core group of guys, but your last 10-15 rounds were pretty brutal. If I had to give a preliminary rank to the teams, right now I'd go with:

1. MauveAvenger
2. Studcrackers
3. Kazanovicz

Corey had a pretty solid draft throughout and took advantage when the flow of the draft put him in a good position. There's only 3-4 guys I see as being immediately... disposable. The catcher picks were kind of weak but he had no way of knowing Bengie Molina and AJ Pierzynski are sitting in the free agent pool.

With Studcrackers, I especially liked his acquisition of young talent. David Price and Carlos Marmol would have been a little high in a normal draft, but went just at the right time in a dynasty draft like this. Denard Span, Ian Stewart and Jeff Clement were all shrewd picks, younger guys who might have a big year.

Kaz, I think you got the best player at the toughest positions to fill and that's always valuable. Mauer, Kinsler, Lidge and Hardy were each the top guys available at their position in this draft. Hopefully, Chad Cordero has a Chris Ray-type season :-)

Alright, so moving forward I think we should distribute the prospects now instead of waiting until right before the prospect draft. I think that the fairest way to do the draft order is just the reverse of the dispersal draft and go: 1) Kaz 2) Stud 3) Mauve, unless you three object to that and would like to do a random number sequence to decide the order? This draft will also be a snake draft and will go until the prospects have been distributed or rejected.

First, we've got to decide how exactly to do this. I've thought about it and I think I have an idea that I think would be fair for the new managers. Since there are 16 players, I think we should have a six round draft and the managers will have the chance to pass on their pick once they deem the prospects not so desirable. They would be reimbursed for this with a supplementary pick at the end of the regular prospect draft (so, after the fourth round is over). This would be to avoid a situation where these guys feel forced to take on players that aren't really desirable prospects anymore. So, for example, let's say that in the fourth round of the prospect dispersal draft studcrackers thinks to himself, Player X is the best guy on the board and I feel like I could get a better guy at the end of the prospect draft so I'll just say "Pass" and take that pick. Assuming he feels the same way the next couple rounds too, he would end up with three prospects, four prospect draft picks and three supplementary picks at the end of the draft. Whoever forfeits their picks first would get the higher supplementary pick. So, another example, if Mauve passes on picking in the third round, he would then have a high supplementary pick than Stud, who waited until the fourth round.

Let me know what you guys think about this. I'll try to send out a league-wide email soon. Oh, and just to tease you guys a little...

So you want to wait to do the main prospect draft until ST because not everyone has knowledge of the minor leagues. But you want the draft with minor leaguers that your not in to take place now. Seems fair.

What happened to Sean Rodriguez and Eric Patterson I know you didn't put them in the list of players that could be drafted in the first draft even though neither were prospects and now there not in this draft either.

I give Sett so much **** he must love it.

Yes, I want the dispersal of prospects to happen now so these guys will have complete teams and be like every other manager in the league. In this draft there's a list of guys they can pick from, it's different from the prospect draft where you're expected to go out and find the guys and make the evaluations. I think there's sufficient information out there on MILB.com (stats) and other resources such as Sickels, BP, BA and others to make an informed decision whether Josh Vitters is better than Marcus Sanders. They'll have the info available such as final stats, age, level and et cetera.

I apologize for not having Sean Rodriguez or Eric Patterson in the draft. They are graduated prospects. They can no longer be in a manager's minor league system. I'm an east coast. I'm not perfect, I **** it up a little bit. I don't think those guys were going to be drafted anyways, but if an expansion manager is particularly ticked about their exclusion we can talk about something.

Some day bigboy I will find a way to shut that big mouth of yours. Yes, that's a threat.

Stud, the prospect draft order is determined by a random number sequence. I think the site is random.org. Basically, you've got just good a chance at getting the top pick as anyone else.

Is this some sort of threat?

Stud trade me Sabathia and Clement for Feliz, Peralta, Gamel, Headley, Conor Jackson, 2nd round and 4th round prospect picks.

No, I've heard of all of them. I guess Gamel will probably be a borderline star while Peralta, Headley and Jackson are good fantasy guys. Feliz is boom or bust really depending on if he can stay healthy. It's not really a veto-able trade I guess. But, stud, I recommend that if you were going to trade CC, you shop him around first. I know I'd be willing to table a decent offer. I'm thinking I might put Teixeira on the market this winter, you know, with Miggy having 1B eligibility and Longoria at 3B already.

Actually, you know what, with Teixeira's potential Red Soxness on the horizon, I might even be open to dealing Evan Longoria. Maybe we can get a perfect storm of trade offers going?

Feliz is boom or bust? You do know he is a top 20 prospect, right?

It's different because of money (I'm also giving up a lot more talent) but what did Milwaukee give up for Sabathia? LaPorta and Feliz are pretty equal in prospect status.

That being said I just threw something out there because I'm bored.

An organization just doesn't have you skip a level and make you one of the youngest players at your new level if they don't think the world of you. (This doesn't apply to the Mets or Mariners as they would put a 10 year old in AA.) Then he even went on to be great there. I can guarantee you they see him as a starter. I'm looking forward to seeing where Goldstein ranks him as he loved him before the season, lets see if he cracks the top 5, I'd be shocked if he wasn't in his top 10.
