Uh, state the obvious much?

I'm still more than okay with drafting Noel. He still looks like the BPA to me when you factor in potential. And I have patience, something apparently running thin on the fan boards lately.

It is like he and Shabazz have hit a wall in college these last few games. Meanwhile Oladipo continues to do his thing.

To be expected considering Oladipo is a junior and Shabazz and (redshirt) McLemore are frosh.

Oladipo like Kemba when he declared is a sophomore aged junior, just something to consider in the age/ceiling debate and is quite an added advantage in the CV.

I feel like it wouldn't be a bad thing if you guys fell into Bennet. Maybe he's risky, but he could be the best player in the next draft. He's not as risky as Nerlens really.

Draft profiles for both from nbadraft.net, look at their strengths & weaknesses and keep in mind that Porters is outdated cuz its from when he was a sophomore in HS but tell me he couldnt bring anything to this team...

First off, its from his sophomore year in college, so did you even read it...

Next Porter is alright, but I have not seen anything from him that will make me believe he is anything better then a solid starter. Yeah, he does everything ok, but when I watch him he just plays solid basketball. I think they are spot on with their comparison to Prince. Porter can shoot better then MKG, but thats about it. Basketball is more then being able to shoot the ball.

Porter would be a good guy if you are looking for a guy to be a 5th starter on a good team, but not as a go to player. Another guy I would compare him to is Chandler Parsons, but I would take Parsons over him easily.

I believe Otto Porter will have a similar impact to Kawhi Leonard in the early going of his career in the NBA. Their style of play parallel each other from my perspective.

We cannot even get love from the computer generated Ping Pong Balls. Played the ESPN Draft Lottery Machine, and it was spin #7 before we picked 1st.(McLemore). And out of 10 spins, that was the ONLY time we won the Lottery. When picking #2-#4, we go with Bennett unless McLemore happened to not be picked #1.

 Same thing happened to me but then when Minnesota kept winning at 3.5% probability I realized the generator treats all teams equally. The Raptors won a disproportionate number of times as well.

I tried it a couple dozen times and got either us or Orlando on most occasions. Probably second-most to Orlando, however we may catch them anyway.

I tried to do it enough to see what they think our big board is, but I could never find a scenario where neither McLemore nor Bennett fell to us. Well, we know they have those as our top 2.

I know it's just ESPN's opinion, but it's kinda crazy how those top 3-4 picks change so much in every scenario.

That was my observation as well. They have our board as McLemore-Bennett 1-2.

They have Wiz as Noel-Len 1-2. They have Orlando all over Smart and same for the Raptors who obviously have Derozan and Ross at SG and Gay at SF so none of the guards make sense for them. However, that pick belongs to OKC.

Also, the draft machine is the first place I've seen that has Gary Harris as a lottery pick (he keeps popping up in the 8-12 range)...actually it might be the first place I've even seen the name "Gary Harris."

so out of 40 attempts collectively between us we landed the 1st pick 6 times, which is slightly below the expected number of 10 times (at 25% chance). i imagine if we did another 40 we might start getting closer to 25%.

Gary Harris is a SG from Michigan State if I'm not mistaken. He was a McDonald's All American but I haven't heard or seen much from him this season though. I'm kind of surprised to see his name in lottery discussion.

That draft machine just makes me even more depressed.

I dont even want the first pick in this draft...if we do we have to take Noel and roll with it.
