I truly don't know, some teams will be focused on re-signing their own 4/5 star players, but then you will also have teams with a clean slate with $1000+ to seek out talent that are currently on other teams. I think young players that are Booker like in talent with 4.5/5 star ratings going into the year 5 reset likely cash in given 29 teams with money to spend. That Sabonis deal going to look real good after the reset lol

Yea I’d def advise guys just to come out the gate with their best offers from day one and don’t spend too much time chasing a guy like I did with Booker (who I was genuinely interested in). Thankfully I was able to bring Sabonis and Grant back who were my bird rights which played a huge role given my rating at the time.
Also, leading up to 2022 I’d look at the categories required to get a good FA destination rating cause that will also make a significant difference if the current system remains the same. Simply put, start building good habits from now so FA’s will “wanna play for you”.
