I’m down but he can’t start! I haven’t hooped in 2 years and if he closed out to me I’d blow by him

In all seriousness Pistons have been very reluctant to trade him and they want 1, maybe 2 1sts from what I’ve seen. Pistons do have some interesting pieces though in Morris (backup PG) and Burks (elite shooter) but I don’t know their contracts

Burks and Morris also both work and are expiring

Lowry is in a pickle. Contenders can’t sign him and will any contenders want to trade for him? Hornets will want an asset for his large expiring

Bojan + Burks

To be honest, there is nothing really out there for us that’s worthy of a trade that can really take the team to the next level. I think it’s laughable to give up whole bunch of picks for Murray. We needs to realized Murray hasn’t proven anything in playoff where defense is much tougher. For all we know he may be nowhere to be found in playoff. I would caution giving up too many picks for him. And did you know what else I think? I think hawks purposely grooming him up in order to sell high. If he’s that good why don’t they keep him? He only has been playing for hawks for 1 and half years. What’s the rush? think about it. We’d do better from the buyout market but we don’t have the cap.

Duncan and Jovic for Burks and Morris saves us a little more money and gets us off Duncan’s contract. I’m a fan of what I’ve seen from Duncan so I’m not openly advocating for it but…….

Burks: 13-2-2 on 20 MPG, he has shot over 40% from 3 the last 4 seasons on 5-6 attempts a game.

Morris last season (hasn’t played this season idk why): 10-3-5, 38% from 3 on 3 attempts. 5 to 1 assists to turnover ratio. I think he would be an awesome backup to have and we don’t have one right now.

Too much salary coming back. You can do Burks and Morris or just Bojan. Duncan, Bryant, and Smith equal 22.4 million

Damn such a good deal, a protected first and the Hornets ate all the extra money so it's all savings here too.

With the Rozier deal, I think that puts an end to the Mitchell dream. We won't have enough picks to make an offer in the summer. I would have preferred to wait and gone after him. But if FO wasn't getting any signals from Mitchell camp then its the best move not to wait for him.

Likely reality is we already didn't have enough picks if Brooklyn or NY (or a bevvy of others) were suitors.
