I'm guessing the Wolves will be underdogs by Vegas oddsmakers no matter which team we face. Houston was the 2nd seed we were the 6th. GSW is GSW. They will be overrated.

Clippers are a really good team, and have more depth than Denver. Zubac is one of the best defenders on Jokic and have 3 really good scorers with Kawhi, Harden and Powell.

I'll be curious to see what LAC does now though. Kawhi was finally healthy enough to play in the playoffs and they still lost.

Houston wins by 7 today.
Denver beats OKC in 7.
Cleveland beats an underrated Pacers team in 7.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

One interesting trend from the 2023-24 and 2024-25 playoffs is that teams who rely heavily on guys in their mid to late 30s haven't made it out of the first round of the playoffs. The Warriors are the last older team still standing and they could get bounced tonight.

I think the two opponents are interesting, for different reasons.

I’m hoping we get to face GSW. I think they are too old, and too small. It would be nice for 23-year old Ant’s legacy to knock out Steph. And while none of the current players were on the team when Jimmy went nuts, clearly the fans resent that. Plenty of the current players saw Draymond choke Rudy, and talk garbage about him nationally.

HOU is interesting though. We are used to being the young, long, athletic team, so it would be a big change to be the experienced team! I think we match and probably exceed the advantages the Rockets have, but we have better top end talent, and playoff veterans that know what it takes.

I expect we beat either team.

I do worry Thompson and Brooks may be able to contain Ant. JSJ could burn us with length like Toppin. They play faster and out hustle Wolves similar to what Pacers did.

If GSW wins, they would have to travel to MIN right away from HOU and Wolves definitely have significant advantage for game one. On the other hand, we will be under too much pressure to must take game one

I think we will beat either team also, but I would rather have home court advantage against a team who is going to have trouble with our size (and depth), than play a team that will have a lot of confidence, is younger, bigger and will have home court advantage. I hope GSW wins tonight.

Indiana was 7th in pace this season. Houston was 18th. But yes, I do worry that their role players match up well with us.

One thing Houston gives us though is decent matchups for both Gobert and Conley.

I see it the same. Houston coming back from 1-3 and with HCA is going to be riding huge momentum. I prefer facing the Warriors.

Pacers just can't miss. Andrew Nembhard or Haliburton would look great next to Ant.

Pacers just keep playing teams with injured
stars to get to east finals where they get whipped easily. nembhard is overrated. Haliburton is a good passer but his defense is soo bad.

Haliburton look good on defense today. Pacers is a good team but Cavs should still win.

Shutting down Curry but getting killed by Buddy Hield and Draymond Green is just yikes.

12 point warriors lead at half time. They will close it out I think. Come to Minnesota old men.

Curry and Butler are 37 and 35.
