I think DeAndre and the Clippers were trolling the Mavericks from the beginning. CP3 on the banana boat, Doc not taking him seriously, Blake shooting KIA commercials...by DeAndre turning his back nWo style on the Mavs, he single handedly eliminated them from playoff contention. The Mavs had their money tied and called it an offseason...now, they're left with nothing but a beatdown and some spray paint.

It has more to do with administrative stuff than the players. The hope is in good faith teams and players can make verbal agreements to expedite free agency.
