How come A. Gordon is shooting 40% from 3, is that a fluke? And should we not go after him with some oubre+ gsw 1st+paschal?

Wiseman for Lonzo and Jaxson Hayes.

I think Griffin hangs up the phone but worth a shot.

Oubre/Paschall/Wanamaker and 1st rnd pick heavily protected for Gordon

3p 40% on 4.4 3PA and 4 AST with good below avg defence would help as a lot.

Wonder what it would take to get Dort from the Thunder. To me he is a perfect fit for a smallball unit of Steph, Klay, Dort, Wiggins, Dray. He also fits great with the future core of Wiseman, Minny pick (thinking Kuminga), Poole, Jessup, Nico.

Paschall and a couple protected future 1sts?

Dort has been getting a lot of positive buzz since last season for his defense and this season for his improved 3 pt shooting. The Thunder should hang onto him as he is a solid player and is young enough to be part of their rebuild. That said, OKC did trade away Hamidou Diallo for a scrub + a 2027 2nd round pick so anything is possible. If Warriors can get him for the 2 second round picks this year I would do it. Multiple protected future 1sts might be steep, but he is a very good player.

Diallo was traded because he was a pending RFA whose stock was going up, and OKC preferred the pick and the other RFA who would be cheaper to keep (Svi). Dort is not in the same financial situation. He is under control for 2 more years after this at <2M each, after which he becomes UFA but with full Bird rights. I don't think OKC will be as eager to offer him up except as a package with 5-6 of their picks for a disgruntled star.

Not a huge fan of Gordan...but I would rather have one of him being more dynamic than having an undersized Paschal....

The tweener issue with Draymond not being a scorer and defender (size wise) is going to cause us more issues trying to build the team. Gordan's natural spot is PF. But that's Draymond's position.....?

Comes down to it...I would rather get a Bogdan as an upgrade to SF...who can play a bit of big guard...than another tweener like Gordan who doesn't do anything particularly well.

Gordon is shooting 40% on 3s so far this year, but he's never shot that well before. Career is 32.5%, last year was 30.8%. I would expect him to revert back to his average.

Main value of Gordon would be that he has a better chance of staying in front of Lebron or Kawhi who couldn’t bull their way through him to the hoop.

Remember in the Finals Klay couldn’t offer much resistance to Kawhi getting close to the hoop for easy shots or FTs.

I thought Klay guarded Kawhi better than anyone on the team, but Kwahi got the Jordan whistle in the series, but I get where your coming from. Gordon is a solid defender, stronger than Oubre in my opinion, especially off the ball. Oubre does provide better on the ball defense and can pick up you in full backcourt better.

I’d do oubre+Paschall+our 1st for Gordon
Most 4th Quarter Points in Final since 1991
1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)

What about smailagic/mulder for bjelica? Warriors get a stretch 4 and opens up a roster spot to use their DPE in the buyout market. Sac gets younger and receives something in return.

Mulder isn’t going to get PT with the emergence of Poole and the impending return of Klay next season. Warriors is also going to pick Lee over mulder next year if it comes down between picking one of them (Steph connection)

Oubre for anyone with a contract beyond this year is a win, literally anyone. Losing that contract slot for nothing would be a big blow, especially if we end just a piece away from our goal.

Barnes would probably be the best, he’s familiar with the system and players and can shoot and defend 2-4. Bogdanovich would be an awesome 6th man. I would take Gordon, by the numbers he’s actually the best LeBron defender. Gordon isn’t a great 3-4 fit next to Dray but they would be awesome in a 4-5.

The only guys out there worth getting for the price is Oladipo IMO. Don't forget that Indiana was really good when he was the FIRST option on that team. The was clutch...very good defensively. Assuming he has overcome his injuries...he would bring that back to the Warriors.

Curry, Oladipo, Klay, Wiggins, Green is a really good small ball line up.

IF they decide to keep him then you could move Klay to SF and trade Wiggins for peanuts.

Curry, Oladipo, Klay, Green, Wiseman

Oladipo is worth it, but he needs to commit to re-sign with the Warriors. We don't need a 3 month rental.

Aaron Gordon would also be fine, I'm not a huge fan, but if he replaces Oubre he's a very good upgrade.
He only has another year in his contract so giving a frp may be too much.

Barnes is in demand, wanted by Celtics and other teams.

Kings are not inclined to trade him, unless they're bowled away because they are making a push to at least get in the play-in tournament.
