Scottie is in that LeBron / Giannis mold where he's always going to be the biggest/most fluid on the court. Fluid in the sense that he's too athletic or coordinated for PFs and C's and he's too big for SF and Big guards.

Not really much you can do other than forcing him to shoot and or packing the paint. He's a bully with skill. He's also smart and a willing passer which just opens up the game even more for his teammates.

I was saying all last year that I hoped Scottie would work to improve his vertical explosiveness and man did he ever! I never thought a player could improve so many things in one off season, but with the improvements to his body, shooting, and handles as well, he's like Goku when he arrived on Namek with Kaioken, Instant Transmission, and a massively increased power level.

Raps took a Draymond arch type and through one off season of training added viable offensive skills onto him. He is essentially Scottie Pippen now..

Wtf was that Scottie on that first dunk? Holy f

There were several Scottie B moments that I loved last season, but my personal favourite was that fast break dunk in the Miami game. I mean, he risked it all just to jammed that lol

He’s MUCH stronger than Pippen, Pipp didn’t do half as much around the rim & paint as Barnes does. Said it before but Scottie is looking like a Malone meets Magic type of player so far…

He gave me major Karl Malone vibes in these Utah unis bullying people at the rim.

Scottie wasn't even guarding Kuzma in most of those videos lol.

I don't want to get too excited about summer runs that are more like streetball, but Scottie is moving and shooting like a completely different person. Maybe Barnes too 20 3s and made two, but the highlights make him look really good. He looks comfortable taking 3s from well beyond the 3 point line.

The main thing I'm looking for has been Scotties handles, shooting stroke and footwork. Those are the skills he needs to develop to take the next step. He already has the physical tools and BBIQ on lock.

enjoy this, fam. scottie growing into his body, making the most of those young legs, maximizing his athletic traits is a scary sight. not quite young lebron but not far off, which is crazy. i think the thing that brings it together is his basketball iq and skillset. you don't gotta teach him to dribble or to make the right pass or anything like that. he's already a vet in that sense.

the only raw thing is his jumper and he's already improving on it tremendously.

stick him at point, hand him the keys and let him work.

It’s fun to enjoy these videos, it helps satiate my hunger for raptors basketball.

Back of my mind knows that this means absolutely nothing when it comes to them performing on the actual nba floor though.

Y'all who are saying Barnes lacked athleticism I gave up on y'all last season.

It was apparent Scottie Barnea had athleticism. He was just Bambi in his first year meaning his body hadn't caught up to his athletic abilities just yet.

Scottie Barnes is looking bigger, stronger, and more athletic because he finally has the strength to gather his step and yam over his defender.

Exactly. People acting like he added 10-15 inches of vertical leap or something lol.
He’s always had bunnies. He’s just able to showcase it more in an open gym with a more loose playing style.

He has however improved in every other facet of his game it seems, i.e his handles, his shot, etc.
He always looks much stronger and healthier in general.
College didn’t prepare last seasons rooks well enough to play a full 82 game season. Especially Scottie who barely played for FSU. Hence, why all the top rooks missed time with injuries throughout the season.
