1 more SL game tonight. Enjoy it - sadly, there won't be another C's game for another 3 months!

Name those 3 guys - I doubt you can.

We're not gonna be *that* decimated by injuries that our season depends on the 16th man.

and if we are, you could just sign some free agent to contribute.

Lots of teams have young, development projects on their 2-ways. You're not really gaining anything by trying to put a win-now piece as your 16th man..

Nix, Freemon-Liberty, Juzang? Honestly Brad didnt really bring in a lot of talent, which is odd as he worked out mostly guys that werent projected to be drafted. But they’ve signed two ways off other summer league teams before, problem is teams have three now. Outside of Scrubb it doesnt look like there is one deserving. Maybe Matthew Mayer off the Rockets as they have a tone of young guys.

Nix is horrible.

Those other guys are ok - you could give them the other 2-way slots, since now we get 3 of them.

But both of those guys are unlikely to contribute anything this season for the Celtics. So I see no issue with just keeping Davison in that slot, and just keep trying to develop him. JD has looked shaky in SL but he's not a finished product - he's only 20, has NBA level athleticism and was one of the top PG's in the G league last season at age 19.

I really have no idea what some of you are seeing with pretty much ANY of these guys. Walsh is the only one who I can envision sticking around long-term.

People are being a little unfair to Davison imo. If he was playing with starters or actual NBA players, his strengths (penetration due to open driving lanes, lobs off the PnR and transition fast breaks) would be more visible and you'd see his value. He had a really bad G-League no doubt but the G-League is geared towards confident scoring guards and wings, not guys like Davison. No he's not nearly as good as Pritchard (he's years younger remember) but in an emergency, provided he was playing alongside the Jays and the rest of the starters he'd fill in admirably.

Oh man - they're not playing Anthony Black tonight? Bummer. He's fun to watch. If he played, it'd be a more competitive game.

And Walsh would get to go against his Arkansas teammate.Would have made it more fun for them, and given them extra motivation.

JD's jump shot is really bad. Worse than young Rondo.
