If we trade anything of significance (AKA: Any picks) for Westbrook then just fold the franchise and burn it to the mf ground.

It shows that superstars want to play with other superstars. It makes the Knicks trading KP a lot worse. I don't care if Porzingis didn't want to be here, the Knicks failed to make the guy happy and lost their biggest pitch to recruit top free agents in a year in which they needed to sign superstars. Poor job by Dolan, Mills and Perry.

Did you listen to the Lowe podcast with Jay Williams? Jay kind of hinted at Durant would have liked to play with KP.

I don’t know if it’s true or not b/c as proven time and again, these talking heads know very little.

Agreed. Luckily, we didn’t pigeonhole him into being a 3 by going heavy on power forwards this summer. Oh wait....

Only knick fans man smfh.

You think he deserved it over Beal?

Sad to say but DSJR is a better shooter than Westbrook

True. I think he was saying it’s the combination of KP + New York, though.

I’m not taking any of it as gospel. The lesson from this FA (well one of them) is you can’t take these talking heads too seriously.

The only enjoyable part of acquiring Westbrook would be the spiting your face portion of the old saying about cutting off your nose.

Brodie would unquestionably be must see TV whenever the Knicks played the Nets because if Russ was hitting his shots that day he'd have the whole arena whipped into a rabid frenzy with the way he'd be clearly making it personal with an Armani-clad Durant sitting meekly on the sidelines trying to pretend like nothing was happening.

But yeah, with all this youth and development going on here - especially with one of the crown jewels being a teenaged scorer who needs to learn better shot selection and decision making - one of the most inefficient volume scorers in the league is just about the most wrong move possible.

Cuban admitting he's prejudiced and a bigot certainly isn't helping. he's also on record by not wanting to vote out Sterling even though he knew he had to.

He admitted that he’s prejudiced and a bigot?

yes.

"I know I'm prejudiced, and I know I'm bigoted in a lot of different ways,"

"If I see a black kid in a hoodie and it's late at night, I'm walking to the other side of the street," he said. "And if on that side of the street, there's a guy that has tattoos all over his face -- white guy, bald head, tattoos everywhere -- I'm walking back to the other side of the street."

Cuban wrote: "I think that helping people improve their lives, helping people engage with people they may fear or may not understand, and helping people realize that while we all may have our prejudices and bigotries, we have to learn that it's an issue that we have to control, that it's part of my responsibility as an entrepreneur to try to solve it."
