If the Nets ask for DeRozan in a package, you do it

i don't see why they'd want derozan, tbh. if you're losing kyrie and kd, you're doing a pretty hard reset. give em pat ayo coby and whatever picks you can muster up and pray kd wants to come here specifically

funnily enough i could see the nets being a good fit for vucevic since they have simmons (theoretically)

Yeah, I guess my point is that nobody on this team should be untouchable for Durant. Now there's some limits of course to how much you want to give up but there's not a guy on this team I wouldn't move to get Durant.

Of course you trade for KD if you can but I don’t know how much he has left. He’s 33 now and has really struggled with injuries. I’d take him over DDR and Gobert for sure but selling the farm for him is a bad move. If he demands a trade BKN is screwed for a long time.

i am personally selling the farm for kevin durant. kevin durant is worth more than a farm, to me

Getting KD makes you a contender. Maybe not for the next 5 seasons but who cares.

Williams, Ayo, Vuc and 1s would be enough to get KD.

KD would presumably want to play with LaVine and DeRozan since he's fine with super teams and both those guys are hoopers in comparison to what he experienced with Kyrie and Harden.

I think the framework of the deal would basically be Vuc (who could theoretically go to another team for some sort of asset), Pat Williams, 18, Ayo and/or Coby, and maybe even Lonzo if they really wanted.

Dangit I saw the KD talk on this page and went back hoping for some reported kd to the bulls rumors. Disappointed I was.

I also think we have the assets to pull it off, because if KD asks for a trade he'll submit his list of acceptable destinations. All of those spots will be contenders/playoff teams and most of those teams won't be able to send out assets while remaining competitive. We can.

Just ask to be traded to Chicago KD! And demand that Zach stays here too.

The report of him weighing his options is good enough. Since Brooklyn most likely doesn't want Lonzo because of his balky knee, I'd trade anyone not named Zach and Demar as they are the only reason he'd want to come, and try to keep Caruso.

Dunno if they accept, but I'd offer Vuc, Patrick, Ayo, Coby, #18 for Durant any day of the week. That's a decently strong offer for a 33yo asking out. They could shop Vuc for a few assets.

Next you recruit FAs Mills, Tucker, Batum, etc. on bargain ring-chase deals.

Try to get that TPE/Thybulle based deal.

Then pursue Gobert with: Lonzo, POR 1st, 26 & 28 unprotected FRPs (Ainge likes that) and whatever the hell is left.
