BW32 had the whole "Curry alone" argument going a while back and it's a really good one.
Curry doesn't get anything done on his own at all.

His chucking lately has been painful stuff. Total movement killer and it's OBVIOUS.
No reason not to just lay this on Nellie. But you laid it on Ellis when it was Ellis in this situation so I can understand if you'd feel inclined to put this all on GQ Curry this time around.

Curry had an awful shooting night but the dude knows how to set people up. Definitely helped that we were finally giving Morrow the ball. So happy we finally have a PG that isn't a fatty chucker like Baron was.

I like Reggie Williams too. CJ found Morrow a ton.
Curry had ONE assist to Morrow.

Don't know why Curry always freezes better shooters out like that.
Maybe he's jealous/insecure after his 3PT slot robbing, contest set up, and utter failure.

He's a smart lad and has the big rat on ignore. The thread must be anorexic for him.

How could ANYONE have a negative +/- last night in the blowout of the Knicks?!

Somehow Maggette, Curry, Williams, and Turiaf did.
Simply incredible.

what's more incredible is David Lee 37/20/10, 14-24 shooting, 9-10 ft's, -5

ILOVEIT wrote:I posted he would be a GREAT point guard when the season began.

Book it...Curry will be averaging 20 and 10 assissts next year and leading the team to a winning season and St. Nick and Cohan will still be saying he can't defend lol... Great things about message boards is that you can go back and see how wrong posters can really be.

As long as that "leading the team to a winning season" happens, I'll be happy enough. What I'm worried about is that they'll get the 20-10, but not the wins. And then we'll start hearing about how we need the right guy to complement Steph, just like we did with Monta.

Sorry, PGs should complement the rest of the team, not the other way around.

For all of Baron's issues you can't say he didn't/doesn't know how to set people up.

~yawn~

Darko and Flynn with sweet lines tonight.
Brandon Jennings and co. 2-0 without Bogut.
Collison/Thornton excel w/Paul out
Nat'l media folks, stunned and bewildered, broadcasting that ONLY the Warriors PR team calls to hype its player for ROY, etc.

Proud proud day.

Brian Windhorst said he'd NEVER been called personally by a team's PR department representative with a pitch for ROY votes.... before today. Warriors.

Nice try with the immediate reactionary team Pr defense though.

no defense of the PR team. they can take a long walk for all I care.
I just seem to remember the Blazers doing a similar thing with Roy a few years back.

I think it's a valid counterpoint,
but if you just want people to agree with you then fine.
