Over Stephenson??? Nah.

Even if MKG makes major strides offensively, I see him as the 5th leading scorer. Hendo will probably put in his 13-14 points as the primary option off the bench. I'm not positive I see MKG scoring more than Marvin to be honest, but that's up in the air. Williams will shoot more and pass less than McBob, and McBob averaged 8.5ppg on the same percentages I expect Marvin will shoot.

Yup, over Stephenson. That's why it's a shocking prediction because nobody sees it coming. I'm predicting that Stephenson and MKG are both gonna average around 13 points while Big Al average 21 and Kemba average about 19.

Honestly unless he's turned into the primary floor general or something, Lance only scoring 13 a game would be almost disappointing.

Lance isn't a dynamic scorer like that. He'll score like Hendo, just he'll be a better playmaker, ballhandler, more willing to shoot 3s and less likely to take ill advised fadeaways for no reason. Lance only averaged like 9 points against the Heat in the playoffs where he got all of his additional hype.

MKG is about to show people why he was the #2 pick this season with his renewed confidence in his game because of his shot. It's all up to Clifford to give him the minutes.

Lance just scored 13.8 as Indiana's 2nd option (i think he was at least) here he is 3rd option so i wouldn't be surprised if his scoring goes down, 13/6/6 with very good defense would be a very solid season for him

I expect more out of him than that.

Get ready for the MKG breakout season that's gonna get Mark Price a head assistant job somewhere and eventually a head coach. MKG gonna average 13 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assist, 1 steal, and 1 block while helping us to a 4 or 5 seed in the playoffs. If this doesn't happen I'll blame Clifford for not giving MKG over 30 minutes a night.

Ill go with 11 pts and 6 rebounds for MKG this season

That's if Clifford give him 27 minutes instead of 30+. If MKG get the minutes that he deserve and keep up the offensive aggressiveness then he'll average about 13 points.

We should have a very good rebounding starting lineup

Kemba: Above average for a PG
Lance: Best rebounding SG
MKG: Rebounds like a PF
Marvin: Eh....
Al: Very solid rebounder

I'm not expecting a James Harden breakout season or something, but I think he's more than capable of scoring 16-17ppg on good percentages. I felt like playing second fiddle to Paul George on the wings and George Hill's terrible playmaking ability kept him from showcasing some scoring ability. Lance picks his spots well offensively and shoots a VERY high percentage at the rim (68.4% is better than Big Al, Paul George, etc), he made 110 three-pointers last season (compared to Hendo's 40), and so on down the line. Basically he's a much better scorer than anybody on this roster other than Al or Kemba, and if Kemba doesn't get his shot figured out, then Lance is 2nd. He got 14ppg on nearly 50% shooting last year, so I don't see any reason why his shot attempts don't increase a little.

The only way I see Lance averaging 17 points is if MKG go back into his scary shell, get hurt, or get relegated to under 30 minutes. That's never minding that Neal gonna get minutes to chuck and Hendo gonna fade in many ways.

Stephenson should average around 16. MKG should average between 11 and 12.

I could careless what they average as long as we win.

Per minute...

MKG was the 6th best rebounding small forward last season, and that's with ESPN calling Jeremy Evans, Draymond Green, and Quincy Acy small forwards. Basically, Aminu and Tobias Harris are the only small forwards who rebounded better last season, and Harris played most of his minutes at power forward last year (projects to be a small forward with the Frye and Gordon additions). Kawhi, Melo, PJ Tucker, Batum, and Shawn Marion trail MKG by percentage points.

Lance leads the shooting guards, no contest.

Kemba is tied with Curry, Hill, and Burks for 11th, but that's with Bradley, Shved, and Livingston listed as PGs despite playing lots of 2 guard last year.

Marvin is 48th among PFs

For centers, Biz comes 8th. Al is actually 14th, but he is trailed by several backups. He's just a shade behind Noah and Valanciunas.

Where is Zeller? He must be a better rebounder than Marvin.

I will be thrilled if MKG averages around 12 PPG this season.

Agreed. I think 13 ppg is far fetched for him this season. Baby steps for MKG. If he scored 11 game on good efficiency with a respectable jumper this season id be happy. Next season is when I think he will truly break through. This season is going to be an improvement for sure though.

Hes going to be gone sooner than later. Already interviewed for the Cavs job this past offseason, and unlike Ewing he seems to be very intellectual when he talks, and we all know guards get head coaching gigs before big men do. Its just the way it is.

11ppg with his defense essentially makes him Andre Iguodala without the ability to run point. I'll take that considering MKG is 21.
