His steals and blocks numbers are extremely bad which is an alarming indicator to never amounting into anything in the NBA.

Depending upon how the draft and the Love situation plays out I don't mind that risk at all.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Would only make sense if we took the Celtics offer and planned to suck for at least 2 years and maybe by then Lavine would learn the basics.

Sorry guys, I strongly disagree. Lavine will be a top 5 talent in this draft. He's raw as hell but he can do things that no one in this draft can do. Stud.

I think its a forgone conclusion that Payne is coming to Minnesota If we do the trade with GSW.

That's what they said about Anthony 'Magic' Randolph. I'm not going to get fooled again.

The only thing I like about the idea of drafting in Payne is the potential for this in the arena and here.

People hype of Lavines athletic ability to the point where people think thats all he can do.

He can create his own shot and get off a jumper at any time. In the NBA this is an important skill. And I don't think there is anyone on our team than can do this off the dribble.

He can also handle in transition but I'm not sold on him in pick and roll situations. In the half-court he should be regulated to coming off screens and curls, attacking from the wing, and spotting up in the corner.. This is where his athleticism also shines because he gets so much lift on his jumpers. He's a shot maker. And once he puts on weight he has the potential to be a deadly slasher. Offensively I love his fit with Rubio.

I lean towards taking him with the Boston deal if Stauskas isn't available. The intrigue for a possible rebuilding team like us will be Lavine being a draft and stash candidate. He will be in and out of the D-league and won't be counted on to play.

Flip has said he doesnt want more than 2 rookies. But thats not a big deal when only 2 out of the 3 will play.

has anyone considered 2nd round.
Men I watched some scouting reports, and I am really in love with Jordan McRae's game. In general he is nothing special, but his toolset is excellent

I don't know what we do in this draft but we better end up with him:

Is this from the early 1950s? There are 8 - 10 white guys on the court at all times

So what you are saying is he is a perfect fit for our all-white lineup? He is 20 and already the best player in Croatia.

FIBA U16 MVP 2010
FIBA U18 MVP 2012
FIBA European Young player of the year 2013

And unlike Vesley he won't be a bust in the NBA because his handles & passing are much better.
Might take a couple years of development but since we will probably be just at the start of the rebuilding process if Love is dealt we have time.

Although, he might pull a Ricky Rubio and play 2 seasons in Turkey before making the jump in the NBA.

Hood or Lavine will make me cry.
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

That team looks extremely solid with a lot of potential going forward. Im a big fan of Dario.

I thought I read somewhere that Saric signed for two more years overseas. Could be wrong on that, though.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
