Wasn't Sarah Logan literally just on Raw? Wonder if she knew that was going to be it.

She really sold that injury well - uncomfortably well.

Is he furloughed or legit gone though? if he's gone, it goes to show that their is no loyalty to anyone in the company. I'm sure Chioda could get another good paying job in wrestling as a head ref but the fact that's he's been employed for 31 years and they let him go just like that is disgraceful.

Of course, now WWE is giving themselves a massive black eye by firing all these people in the middle of a pandemic to save the money they wasted by signing them in the first place. Karma, baby.

Yeah but the people signed don't deserve to suffer because of WWE (or namely, Vince's) incompetence/selfishness/lack of any kind of human decency.

I'm not saying they do. Just saying this day was inevitably going to come at some point the first time WWE suffered some financial hardship.

I honestly don't really understand the outrage. Like, did anyone think that Vince McMahon of all people was going to do the right thing? This is the guy who wouldn't back down from running shows in Saudi Arabia after they tortured and murdered a journalist on foreign soil. Vince has no moral compass and never has.

Yeah, it totally **** sucks that this happened but I wouldn't expect anything less from the WWE. Companies are doing this to people all over the world, I guess it's just another reminder of what the WWE actually is.

I had absolutely zero interest in MITB until now. This might be great or hilarious or both but I'm interested.

Edit: Or neither but I'm much more hopeful lol.

True but that's why everyone should kick up a fuss now, especially given the timing and hopefully talent start seeing Vince for what he is (and that is not their friend).

I think the main issue is that, when most of these guys signed their contracts, there was really nothing else out there that was going to pay them anywhere near as well as WWE. Once all this crap blows over, at least they'll likely still have AEW as a legit competitor. Maybe AEW can't pay guys as well as WWE, but I'm willing to bet they can get a lot closer than most other promotions.

You know what's crazy I still play 2K18 and skipped 2K19 and 2K20 and checkout all the main roster
(RAW, Smackdown, NXT) talent that's gone since that game came out 2.5 years ago. Some people on
the list might not be accurate since they may have been alumni already.

Aiden English
Alicia Fox
Big Cass
Brie Bella
Chris Jericho
Curt Hawkins
Darren Young
Dash Wilder
Dean Ambrose
Emma
Enzo Amore
Epico Colon
Eric Young
Erick Rowan
Goldust
Heath Slater
Hideo Itami
Jason Jordan (Still with the company I think as a producer)
Karl Anderson
Kassius Ohno
Konnor
Luke Gallows
Luke Harper
Matt Hardy
Neville
Nick Miller
Nikki Bella
No Way Jose
Primo Colon
Rhyno
Rich Swann
Rusev
Sawyer Fulton
Scott Dawson
Sin Cara
Summer Rae
TJ Perkins
Tye Dillinger
Viktor
Zack Ryder

Then there is guys I'm not sure about like Lars Sullivan, Noam Dar etc if they're even still around anymore?

Hell even a lot of the CAWs that I got for that account to keep it updated are gone like EC3, Mike Bennett,
Drake Maverick, Sarah Logan, Lio Rush etc etc.

Spens1 wrote:so apparently wwe is considered essential business (and i think because they're national, AEW is as well), this of course after an $18 million donation from Linda McMahon to Trump (i'm serious by the way).

I have no idea how the hell wrestling is considered essential at all (doesn't matter which company it is), i think that goes to show that anyone who says vince cares about his workers is lying, the man only cares for money.

Especially Florida of all places where the population is incredibly old, that sounds like the potential to be Italy as is, i'm not sure WWE or AEW should be running live tv in a state that has the potential to be italy.

if you lived in Florida like I do you would know why the state made this decision, this opens the door for them to allow baseball to return here too. so the so called "arizona" plan can be potentially split into arizona + florida for the MLB to salvage a season if they choose to make such an attempt.

Gronk has been traded and to Tampa Bay (i thought he is retired) according to serveral sources.
What does this mean for WWE? Is his contract with WWE automatically void?
My perception is that WWE was/is his employer, because of his contract with WWE and now he is NFL player again?

I`m confused.

Wow, he's back with Brady! With WWE being in cost-cutting mode and Gronk not getting great reviews at Rasslemania, I don't think it'll be a problem getting out of whatever contract he had with WWE.

Gronk spent one weekend working for Vince and was like, "Nope, gimme CTE."
