Embiid dislocated his finger:

Careful for those with a weak stomach. Popped it back in and continues playing.

It's nice Boston lost. Need to make it count now and come back against SA

So, yea Cleveland lets kick things off and get weird. Let's see some stuff start happening. Hopefully that doesn't make LA/Boston/Phi/Mia any better.

I'm not bored at all. Before last year the Bucks have been mediocre or terrible for all of my adult life except for '00-'01. I'm enjoying every game of this.

Of course I'm enjoying it all as I'm in the same boat as you. But, let's be real not having to watch most 4th quarters and going into most games knowing there is almost no chance to lose is a bit uneventful. Maybe that's a better word than 'boring'. And having Giannis's craziness to watch is at least a big thing too that helps.

For example, Saturday I was out and NFL playoff on one and Bucks on the other. Normally, I'd care more about the Bucks but I know we'd win that game and it was nothing to worry about so I found myself on the NFL more and just checking Bucks score to make sure it was going as it should. Or say you're an Alabama fan of the last 10ish years. After the first couples years wouldn't most games just be boring outside of the 3 big games each year. Sweet, we just beat Kent St by 63.
That's not a fair example. Watching the Patriots season end is almost always going to take precedence

This whole Dwight Howard redemption arc that the NBA and Laker fans are pushing is honestly pretty nauseating.

I'd most be afraid of GSW in this scenario. GSW will have Steph/Klay back and then have Russell's contract + top 5 pick to get someone. Biggest fear being KAT.

Or, Boston getting KAT. That's the guy I fear gets added to to a contender and it becomes a big problem for us.

Lillard too, even though he's preached loyalty.

Yea him too. As the resident Lillard stan here, if he comes available we better be at least involved in the discussion in getting him.

For Boston and a true star like KAT, I'd probably guess Tatum has to be in it. Give him his big money extension so contracts match, tack on some 1sts and it fits. For Boston, yea they'd rather give Hayward for obvious reasons but since those elite picks are gone now they have to give something and Tatum could be it. Brown has passed him this year and Brown looks legit.

Kings trading for yet another no-defense gunner at the wing would be peak Kings.

To be clear here. This would be for the 2nd round of the playoffs. Currently, they set 1-8 and play it out like NCAA. In this new format, the 1 seed would play whomever the lowest seed is in round 2. Essentially going the NFL style. Correct if wrong.

I don't see this being a big deal either way. But IMO I do think the NFL format is the most logical and fair to the high seed. But, it also runs into the problem of having to wait for all series to finish before starting round 2. Now, you can have a day or two overlap.

It would be just for the Conference Finals, which would then be just the semifinals, since the conference distinctions would go away at that point. The NFL is not so dumb as to abolish Conference Champions.

Reseeding the 2nd round would be fine.

Ah ok. I thought the phrasing off the tweet was a bit vague and that's why I tried to lay it out clearly.

Yea, I can't imagine they take such a drastic step like this in regards to the ECF and WCF. If you were going to go down such a path you should just eliminate conference all together, or start the reseed at beginning of playoffs 1-16 like has been kicked around for years. Don't half ass it like this.

For the NFL comment, I was referring to round 2 happening this weekend where the highest got to wait and play lowest seed remaining after round 1.

The normalising of Rose cause he's now "good" is far worse.
