Yeah it is crazy talk. Bradley wasn't just a rotation player for us, he was enormous for our team that 2nd year in the league. He was a huge reason the Celtics turned that season around after the all star break. He was making people cry on the defensive end. He took over as a starter and Ray Allen didn't get his job back.
Once he took over as a starter, he put in 12 points a game on 50/47/80 shooting while playing probably the best defense of his career.
Incredibly defined role on a good team, and Doc was patient bringing him along on offense, when he was missing shots, telling him eventually he'd start making them like he did in practice. His defense got him on the court, and that's where he was ahead of Hezonja. That hot streak of shooting didn't last, and he didn't really get back to a level of consistent offensive excellence until this year. Always been streaky.
Put Hezonja on that Celtics team, young Bradley on this year's Magic, you could get very different outcomes. I'm talking about raw ability, not situational performance.
Give it up. Quit while you are way, way, way behind
Look, time will tell. I'm betting Hezonja's averaging 15 points a game within two years, minimum, and getting them in ways Bradley can't. Never had that level of confidence with Mclemore or Waiters. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. If you want to keep heckling, knock yourself out.
