Is that why people were making Indiana Jones title jokes recently?

Probably only if you heard the jokes today because I think they revealed the title this afternoon.
Dang, that was last week. The universe is something. People were making up pretend indy Jones movie names on par with that one.

Anyone going to get into the Pokemon with guns game Palworld? I guess it's on Game Pass. It looks insanely weird.

I'm going to try it because it's free. It feels like found money. If it's great, then it combines a lot of stuff I'm interested in. If it sucks, at least I don't have to pay to find that out.

When a free game you never intended to play turns out to be really good. *Chef's kiss*

Folks, I'm not a gamer, but I tried buying a cheap USB gaming system so I could let my kids try playing games like super mario bros, turns out it was absolutely a piece of junk that didn't work at all.

Anyone have a system that gives access to all the cool old games that is simple and ideally affordable? I feel like all the ones I am looking at now are probably just cheap junk that are scams.

Two (or three) options:

1) SNES or NES Classic edition
2) Build yourself a Raspberry Pi setup and install Batocera, throw some games on there (I cannot tell you how to find the games here...) and go from there.

Appreciate the response but have to admit, reading option #2 has me worried that I am even more out of touch with this sort of thing than I thought, or you had a stroke and sputtering gibberish. I'll flip a coin to decide.

Ha! Raspberry Pi is a mini-computer that people use to do awesome stuff.

After looking at those options, I'd say NES Classic is kind of what I had in mind. Thanks for the suggestion

This is pretty damn cool, just outside of my capabilities to make it happen. But this is awesome.

Played a decent amount of this a few years back when you mentioned it, but haven’t touched it since. Love the graphics though.

Just started a PoE character last weekend, trying some type of Icestorm build I found on the forums. I’ve never made it to the end game, I put it down after a while and never get there.

Palworld is apparently pretty great. I downloaded it. Also picked up the new Prince of Persia. I'm also at a point in Fire Emblem Revelation where the kids are showing up en masse so I kinda wanna stick with that.

My weekend got completely wiped out by other people getting Covid so I'll have plenty of time.

I can’t believe this is actually happening. I could cry I’m so excited. The last game they made like 15 years ago is still the best tennis game on the market IMO.

Also, for those that like competitive shooters, I think I’ve recommended it once or twice in here already, but The Finals has made me love online shooters again. Free.99 and it’s probably the first game of any genre to make me totally obsessed in a while. It’s just so much fun.

That was definitely my go to before Top Spin. For my money Virtua and Top Spin are pretty much the only good tennis games. I know some people like Tennis Elbow too.

So Palworld is fun but I don't need to put 100s of hours into it like I did Ark. I need the crafting speed and gathering rate to increase.

I think you can do both in the custom settings.
