Just like Perry Jones III was an easy call?
If it was an easy call, then Oladipo would be an unquestionable top 2 pick. He's not, so it's not an easy call.
I don't know if you're already writing off PJII's career or not, but if you're instead talking about how he fell in the draft... well, was that really a surprise? By most accounts, he went in the range people thought. Just at the lower end of the range.
Oladipo over McLemore is an easy call. Sooner or later people will realize it. It's fine if you're hesitant to believe it.
Bensational wrote:LOL, arrogant much? We've all seen the debates and nothing has been shown that would make Oladipo an easy call. I'm not denying that there's a legitimate race between the two with no discernible answer until they hit the courts, but come on man, what makes him an easy call? "motor", "heart", other intangibles that you either 'see' or you're blind to it?
I bring up PJIII because you were rabid for him last year because 'the scouts' had once considered him a top 3 prospect (the same ones you're criticizing people for following now), and that made him a steal with our pick. You were pretty pissed when Hennigan took Nicholson, but at this point it looks like we came away with the better player. I'm not writing off PJ at all, I still see the potential in him, but that wasn't "an easy call", and I doubt that Dip over McLemore is an easy call. Could go either way from the info we have at our disposal, and unless you've got some kind of advanced analytics that nobody but Hennigan has access to, then I don't think you're anymore qualified to say who is and isn't the better prospect.
There are guys like Neon who have legitimately thought provoking reasons behind their statements, but you're have been lacking lately.

#2, #51 and Aaron Afflalo to OKC
Afflalo has 13-14 (7.75), 14-15 (7.75) and 15-16 (7.94) left on his contract.
For
Jeremy Lamb, #12, #29 and Stonehands Perkins?
Perkins has 13-14 (8.98) and 14-15 (9.65) left on his contract.
Lamb has 13-14 (2.11), 14-15 (2.02), 15-16 (3.03) left on his rookie contract.

Hell Yes!!! Doubt OKC would do it though. That would leave them very thin on the front line.

I am thinking about it. Lamb is definitely intriguing. But I want top 5 pick this draft so hopefully Noel, McLemore or Oladipo.
I am really excited about Noel and that is why I want a top 5. I know I have no knowledge of whatsoever but a defensive Big accompany with Vucevic is exciting.

I would take Jeremy Lamb + #12 + #29 over McLemore and Oladipo or Burke in a New York Minute.
Its basically SG Jeremy Lamb (instead of BMac) then certainly at least one of McCollum, Schroder or maybe Burke will be there also. Then you have #29 to grab the BTA

I like the idea of Shroeder or McCollum early teens. I think they would do well at Magic and fit the team. But my point is I am not giving up #2 with possibility of getting Noel or Alex Len. Unless Hennigan is sold on Dieng with 12 pick but he could be taken
BTW who can you target at #29?

Well that would be a better offer, but adding Afflalo to that just to get Perkins would be terrible. I still rather not give up the #2 pick, but at least your trade gives a good amount of value back for it.
