Am I the only Suns fan happy about a Lakers Super team. Rather it happen now. Suns need to be ready to win rings in fout to eight years from now. They need to compete before then in the playoffs but that it their cores prime years. Having to battle Lakers, Warriors, and Rockets over the next four years is only going to make them better.

I hope Ryan is ready to make some moves

three expirings: 26m

three non guaranteed if exercised by 7/1: 8m

draft picks : 16, 31 maybe another pick or two (but not the Heat 2021 unless Ryan you can take a vote on this forum as we don't trust you with that pick!!!

I get what you are saying - there is some validity to that. I mean the Warriors are not going anywhere as it is. The Rockets well - if they don't get LeBron - they will be the same team maybe minus Ariza but players will go there to fill out the roster. So now add the Lakers

other than it sucks its the Lakers - your point has merit

Ryan just needs to sit and wait and the right opportunities will come. This can be the defining off season for the next 10 years of this franchise

If Kawhi gets traded to the Lakers, and Lebron signs there, Chris Paul is next to head there.

I agree and think this is more likely than Paul George. Now if Paul leaves Houston maybe George ends up there.

Yeah that true! Man, I can’t stand when players all get together for this. It sucks for the bottom teams but good thing we have a young roster.

Kawhi and Lebron to the lakers is going to hurt, but I want nothing to do with Kawhi !!!!!!

He couldn't even be at the games after Pop's wife passed. What a piece of trash.

Ball, Kuzma, and Ingram w/ picks can nab Kawhi.

Look out for Boston too....

Next years SAC pick, Brown, Rozier or and Hayword........ Boston has a better package than LAL (and in a different conference)
Boston : Irving/Tatum/Kawhi/Horford .....potential championship team

They could trade Porzingis and matching salaries (like Kanter's expiring or something) and then maybe nab Carter in the draft and sign Kyrie next offseason. Kyrie, Kawhi and Carter wouldn't be bad.

It has nothing to do with Pop. They just arent contending anymore so players want out to a big market or a title contender

It has all to do with Pop. LMA was unhappy with his role in the Spurs offense and Kawhi lost trust in the organization.

And he's confident in the Knicks? He just wants to go to a big market hence LA and NY being his preferred

Pop is on his way out as well. Two more years coaching and he is reportedly done.

If the Kings did trade #2 for Kawhi, that kills all possibilities of Doncic falling anywhere we could get him. You know the Spurs would snatch him up real quick. I just dont see the Kings making the move, it would cost them too damn much for a 1 year rental. You either have to be a big market team with capspace, or a team with multiple stars already on it. If you dont have the star power, you end up gutting your team and he wont want to stay, but if you have multiple guys, you can send one out in trade and maybe just maybe hope that the team will still be strong enough to retain Kawhi.

But then again, its hard to arue with going to LA and being Lebrons Robin.

And i dont care what anyone says, Lakers probably have the best offer for San Antonio, and when it comes to trades, you always go with the best package no matter what team it is. Ball/Ingram are a definite. Maybe Kuzma if Spurs balk too much. Then multiple 1sts on top of that. Sure, other teams COULD offer more, but they wont as it guts them and there would be too big of a risk for Kawhi to walk away in FA (Or demand another trade whenever he deems fit). Exactly the same reason the Suns should stay away from all this.

You can see it. Logic would say its doubtful but you can see it. It's the Kings and Vivic. This could absolute happen and it would be phenomenal.

Suns would lose out on the slim hopes of landing both Ayton and Doncic BUT it would guarantee Kawhi is a free agent next year.

First, I think his uncle leaked it. I don’t even know if this is what Kawhi wants.
Second, this is the Spurs’ version of Goran Dragic. Winning no longer matters; he just wants to be in a big market.

oh well. Booker and DA don’t care.

He certainly deserves some criticism, his passive aggressive comments directed at Kawhi late last year certainly didn't help the situation.

With Aldridge its hard to say. They might have promised something when recruiting him and didn't deliver on that causing that riff. But LMA has always been known as a moody guy who isn't the easiest to coach so it might just have been that popping up.
