I'm rooting for the MSE (Major Sinkhole Experience) for them, but realistically it's probable they'll get better. They'll go on some streaks, their record will balance out more, and Porzingis will do the same with his personal production.

But that also doesn't mean the MSE - for Dallas as a team, Porzingis individually, or both - has a non-zero chance of happening.

At the very least it's a wonderful thing to have banked 11 Ls in their first 19 games of the season as we chase the final landing spot of their 1st rounder.

I think Booker is going to be out with a bad hamstring.

A guy like Hollinger doesn't care about the Mavs. He's worried the Knicks are getting closer to a really good young nucleus.

This is not ALL KP's fault obv. Luka still great but he is missing a certain spark that he had last season. Also Timmy was more reliable last year. They need Kleber. And they shouldn't have traded Seth Curry.

It's a series of things.

I hope the Bulls wouldn't trade LaVine for KP. Nah, hope not.

I just don’t think they are a playoff team. My real fear is that they get into the playoff through the playin games

We need to get one of those nba experts to tweet on this. I heard it did, but if it didn’t that would be great

Everyone is saying that if you get in through the playin games that the pick is not a lotto pick and the team that gets kicked out gets a lotto pick based on their record. I know it sucks for us, but the way the way the Mavs are playing they might be bad enough to even miss the play in games.

Spurs are legit and have an easy schedule remaining.

Jazz, Clippers, Lakers and Nuggets are locks.

PHX, POR, GSW and MEM are battling for those 6 through 9 spots. MEM is the only team I'm not sold on, because they have played so few games, but all around they are a solid young team and if JJJ comes back watch out.

That leaves one play-in spot for Houston, OKC, Pelicans, Dallas and Kings. OKC and Kings are probably going to start tanking soon, so I wouldn't count on them. Houston actually is my sleeper to make the playoffs not just the play-ins. They are becoming a top defensive team that is deep with high end talent in Wall, Oladipo and Wood. Pelicans have the talent, but since they are young consistence will be the issue, they have blown multiple games that they should of won.

Dallas will have an uphill battle no matter how you slice it. And this is considering that Luka has barley missed any games even though he averaged about 10 missed games the past two seasons.

One thing I don't like about Luka is it seems like he is throwing his team under the bus. I know he is 21, but even last season when we were getting our ass beat every night RJ at 19 was more composed in our losses. If the Luka is the leader he needs to lead by example and not get flustered by these losses and keep his team together.
