smart man. he even said he knew he would've gotten fired in 2 years. knicks unable to surround our best players with high end talent will always be our biggest problem.

You forgot to mention they also acquire and sign not top end talent and try to make them the focal point. Which is probably even worse.

if you're talking about randle then yeah i agree to a certain extent. but melo was absolutely a focal point type player imo. we just put the absolute worst players around him and expected him to do magic.

Wanted to expand a bit on the Randle point… do the Knicks actually view Randle as the #1 option or are they aware he’s a third option type of guy? There’s been rumors for like the whole year we're trying to trade for a big time star. Makes you think they want to get someone better than him to slot him down in terms of his role on the team.

If they do think he’s a #1 option however, we’re fked

wish we had a wing that defended like this. Straight Dawg. Im surprised he was not on Thibs Radar considering his age in the second round. Him and Deuce would have been excellent gets together. That might have been a terror combo. Makes us look even more like fools with our talent scouts considering we have such a defensive minded coach who likes older players. Instead we draft bums like Sims or PGs that we stash....smh.

The Knicks had one and he's coming off the bench behind Luka Doncic.

Bobby Marks lists us as a buyer....this team will never learn. kinda hoping the wheels fall off fast so that it becomes clearer this team shouldn't be a buyer....

seriously, f*ck this FO, they're probably gonna trade whatever valuable assets we have left in a futile attempt to AT BEST get knocked out in the 1st RD again

we all knew this and yet it still upsets me. :noway:

the sad thing is, I genuinely think some people on this board can run the Knicks better than this FO/past FO's

no doubt

it's genuinely impressive that the knicks continue to make the game of basketball boring and miserable - it's the most entertaining beautiful sport and they continually ruin it for their fans. it is no small feat of achievement.

And so it begins. Knicks need some more fuel for the tank and health and safety protocols looks to be the gas station.
