Hill was (allegedly) overhead saying "Cram it up your cramhole, LaFleur!"

Was hoping for his own sake he would end up in Jacksonville reunited with Lawrence. That would have been nice, but Houston as a low pressure landing spot is pretty good for him to try and save his career.

Hill learned a lesson that's true in most lines of work. When you're already borderline having the job you just can't be a prick. If you're exceptional a company may ignore it but when you're replaceable they will not. It's not exactly fair but its true.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

You also have to mess up pretty badly to get publicly called out by the head coach like that.

Hill probably cost himself quite a bit with his spat with Leach that led to him quitting in college. The guy just sounds like a dumbass.

Something interesting I read this morning. If the Raiders wanted to, they could cut Carr within three days of the Super Bowl and have minimal obligations moving forward. Could make for a landing spot for Rodgers.

That would be interesting. Adams goes to California to play with his college buddy, after 1 year they release his buddy and trade for his former QB

I think I saw they have the #2 pick as things sit today, probably figure that stays in the top 5-7 at worst. Hmmm fun to think about.

I know there are ways to make contracts work for all kinds of moves, but wasn't the Rodgers contract structured so that he ends his career (whatever year that happens) as a Packer? Like it would be really hard to trade his contract?

Thinking about Rodgers going to Las Vegas is really interesting, but my understanding is that Rodgers won't be traded.

He's cheaper to move than it is to keep him.

Up to #12 in the draft now.

Can't wait to see Gutey's next defensive stud 1st rounder is going to be.

Great front office will lead us back to another Super Bowl in no time.

Fire Barry, MLF, Gute, and Murphy

hard to even care about rebuilding with these dolts here, its never going to work for them and that will be years more of pain if they’re allowed to keep driving the franchise into the ground, dont give them another rebuild to **** up

Packers need to clean house top to bottom

Well, more things to do than GB and a better weather for sure, but definitely not the best in the world, not even in US, IMO.

If the season ended last night: who on the roster would you retain going into next season? Just existing roster players.

Just a quick glance without thinking too much:

QB: Love
RB: Jones/Dillon
WR: Watson/Lazard/Doubs/Toure
TE: Tonyan/Deguara
OL: Jenkins/Myers/Tom/Nijman/Runyan/Rhyan/Jones
DL: Clark/Wyatt/Slaton
LB: Gary/Enagbare/Garvin/Barnes/Walker/Campbell
CB: Alexander/Stokes/Douglas/Jean-Charles
S: Tariq Carpenter and Rudy Ford?

Depending on a few guys I could go either way on (Crosby, O'Donnell, Savage, Amos) I'd just prefer a hard reset and jettison all the veteran dead money you can while biting the bullet this offseason. I'd put Aaron Jones in that list but RB's don't really fetch great returns on the trade market anymore.

Unless Jones is extended I can't see him being back next year.

Yup, when he signed that 4 year deal it was said at the time it was essentially a 2 year deal. His cap hit goes from $5.9 million this year to $20 million next year. About $9.5 million dead cap if he's released which can be split between '23 and '24 if released after 6/1.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
