interesting. I thought he might have a chance in the 1st rd but I guess not?

He’s the most switchable big man in the draft. This is surprising to me.

Bona is an undersized C, can't see him in NBA at that position. Looks shorter than Jacquez, not much offensively.

Bona will need to show a bit more offensively as a sophomore and playing alongside Aday Mara should help him get easier looks and develop some more on the offensive end

On the defensive end he’s already a beast. Probably a contender for National DPOY next year

He really only entered the draft to get feedback. The only concern UCLA had was that there were some efforts by other schools (mainly Duke) offering him more NIL money to convince him to transfer. Luckily the Ucla NIL group stepped up and increased his NIL offer to keep him at UCLA

DraftX had Cidy @40 :o

Their mock is sort of a composite of team needs and draft buzz. Seems late in the game for him to make a run at the lotto.

He measured at 6’8.25” at the combine. Didn’t measure his wingspan cause he had shoulder surgery and probably couldn’t stretch out his arm

Oh damn! That’s pretty significant.

I mean from game action, they looked similar. Can't explain it.

There’s something about George, but as we all know he can go completely sideways. And he seems fairly redundant if we’re re-signing GTJ.

Sidy gives me a little bit of Franz vibes. The difference is Franz is basically 6’9”-6’10” whereas Sidy is 6’5”.

Hawkins is a perfect fit if we’re running it back and Gradey is off the board.

Bufkin almost seems too perfect at this point, it’s like where’s the flaw you’re hiding?

Sensabaugh is the other one to watch now that Nurse is gone because his production was incredible for a freshman. It’s almost crazy how productive and efficient he was. But defense.

Sidy is closer to 6'7 then 6'5, in shoes of course and I don't really see the Franz comparison though considering one of Franz main weapon is his shotmaking. I compare him more to Slo Mo Anderson but with better athleticism and flare to his game. Basically a guy that can do a bit of everything.

If we're retooling then hope that Wallace falls to us, if not him then Hawkins.

If we want to roll the dice then pick Coulibaly.

Happy birthday to Rayan Rupert - future Raptor.

Rethinking his value lately after considering the trade deadline. Teams were willing to give up 3 firsts for OG and maybe more for Mikal Bridges.

Just turning 19, Rayan projects to be on their level in a couple years because the defense could easily translate to 1-4 positions.

The swing factor will be the three, but no reason he can't get there with his work ethic.

In watching his film, he has some pick and roll ability to his game.

If Wallace falls past 8/9 Washington/Utah he's most likely to drop to us.

Good move by Bona because with the amount of risers like OMax, Bailey, etc... dude was definitely looking at the 2nd round.

Mark_83 wrote:Hmm. I wonder what team Walker has set as his floor to take that promise. There's no reason for him to shut things down unless he's comfortable falling to that spot, and there's no reason for a team to give him a promise if they're already high enough to pick him.

Dallas would seem to make some sense. He played for Houston and would give them the kind of switchable wing they lost when they traded Finney-Smith.

If he's looking for the highest pick possible, that makes no sense. He can get higher than 10th. But if he's looking for the best fit, than you cant really get better than Dallas for him. He'll start right away and play a big role for them, and if his 3pt shot progresses, he'll get paid heavily playing beside Doncic (and maybe Irving)

He had some fans last year as a potential UDFA. He can touch the top of the backboard and gets his head over the rim, but shows little in terms of actual basketball ability.
