As poor as buying the top of crypto memecoins.
170,000+ killed and injured in Gaza.

Never forget the live-streamed Palestinian genocide.

I am trying to tamper with my expectations of him, but he's passed Scottie as my fave prospect on the team. But that says more about how disappointing Scottie has been this year.

He's reaching the territory of being given unrealistic expectations by fans who end up inevitably disappointed

as is tradition.

He could easily be Manu Ginobili 2.0. Acutally, that might be his floor now, because of the defense. :D

Not an iso scorer. Probably never will be. But he can attack a defence well off the catch, provide defensive energy on the other side, grab some boards, hustle for loose balls, play make off the dribble. He’s got some very useful skills and a high motor. Just don’t expect an all star. Can be a great role player on a contender imo. Impactful player but not a star himself.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

I may starting to have a concern if jakobe has been too injury prone?

Maybe that's why they've been limiting his minutes and letting the others play so much?

Yeah, I said Derrick White and that would be amazing for us.

It never ceases to amaze me how much the average basketball fan underrates Manu Ginobili.

Derrick White is even becoming underrated. White has transformed himself into a very good and important player. Walter would need to do so much to become anywhere as good.

Yeah dude was a baller. He bought into the Spurs system or he would've been a borderline superstar. He also made the eurostep popular in the NBA.

He said floor. There is still a chance he becomes his namesake, Michael Jordan.

Shot looks legit. Defence is better than expected for a rookie. Still big problems scoring inside of the arc.

I don't think he has enough shake/agility/first step/change of pace/handle to be a major creator for others.

4 years younger than a guy like Quentin Grimes who's maybe broken out .Lots of time to figure out how to score on drives and improve as a passer.

It depends if he can make those dribble pull up 3s (probably behind screen), yet, his ball handling needs to improve, particularly, we are playing him as point guard. That would be his ceiling. For now, average case, would be what you are describing, indeed.

Wow. Big disagree there. I think he's the ONLY young player we have that shows promise in iso scoring. He kinda reminds me of a young jimmy butler in how he scores. Or Jalen rose. Nothing fancy. More about using angles and getting his defender slightly off balance. Using the glass alot from 5 to 6 feet while his shoulder makes space. He doesn't use his shoulder to bump like a post player. But he uses his shoulder and footwork to get 5 to 6 footers off...often using glass. Sneaky post stuff like rose and butler.

Weird because I think the iso stuff in his game is most defining of his offensive game. Or most promising. His outside shooting certainly looks serviceable. But it's the sneaky iso stuff that I think sets him apart.

If not Walter....which other young raptor shows iso potential?

I LOVE that he doesn't over dribble and just attacks.
