This! I've been saying for a while now we need to put the pipe dream away of catching Phoenix (I'm sure no one thinks we can by now) and root for Phoenix to pass LA. One spot means a lot less ping pong balls.

Cleveland just won a 2OT game and play us on Tuesday the night before a back to back nationally televised game against the Celtics that has huge playoff implications. I'd say it's about a 85% chance that they rest their guys...

Doesnt really make sense that they would risk a loss vs us, just to play a hard fought game against the Celts. They need every single win they can get right now.

Cleveland will rest their guys the entire second half once they get a 25 pt lead on us.

Maybe. But they still really need to win the game against us if they are concerned with home-court advantage in the Eastern Conference Finals.

That Lakers win tonight makes things a bit more interesting for us.

Great , 53% chances of losing that pick

Let's hope they get less lucky than last year

Bow down to Hinkie. Master of trades. 76ers will probably have two top 8 picks with non of them being their own

IND and CHI still have something to play for. Needless to say, Nets game is a must lose.

GO Nets!

Suns in sole possession of 2nd in the tank race. I hope they keep it.

I normally don't visit the LAL board but I may have to go lurk and read some of the meltdown after yesterday's events.

No, it's not. Hard to root for home loss against the worst team in the NBA. I got it marked as a W. We're fine.

Home or road, we still lost to that dumpster fire by double digits a few days ago.

...on the 2nd night of a B2B after a tough loss vs Celtics. And, that dumpster fire is playing .500 ball the last 10 or so games.

That Dumpster Fire burned down the Hawks like a section of I-85 last night! Burn, Dumpster, Burn!

They are the only bottom-dweller with nothing to gain from tanking and it's showing.

Updated. I added italics to indicate our highest possible position and lowest possible position in the lottery. We are guaranteed to be the 8th slot (2.8% chance at 1st overall) at worst, and 4th slot 11.9% chance at 1st overall; current) at best.

Another loss to the Nets and we are almost guaranteed the 4th slot.

Important to note: Sixers and Knicks play on the last day of the season. That's almost a guaranteed win for philly because New York will pull out all the stops to lose that game if their records continue the way they are now. A tie in the regular season results in split odds. There is not tie breaker.

Also, we need LAL to win one more game.
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are :D

Not changing this sig until Magic win a championship. Started 6/26/2015.

And, like most teams, they are much better at home than on the road.

Geezus why is there only 1 basketball game on today? I'm actually really enjoying watching the tank race.

Lakers in the 3rd seed would be huge.

I cant believe we are 5.5 games behind the Suns, we were within striking distance when we played them. Wish we could tank like them
