Embiid and Steph are pretty tight too.

Joell also recently signed to UA. There's a clip of Steph working out in Embiids new signature shoe

Wiggins + the Pick is better than Embiid alone

btw...I imagine Lacob and Myers use Embiid as some leverage to spur Giannis into making a decision.
"hey...we could move on Embiid but it's your call...if you want to come over we'll go with you. If not, we are all in with Embiid and we won't likely see you in the finals" ;)

Would half of that starting line up even make it to the playoffs?

Gay needs his minutes to be managed so he is fresh in the playoffs like Iggy, so he has to come of the bench, Embidd needs to be managed regular season and I don't know if he would be in shape

Edit: Also people don't envision how much of a terror Wiseman is going to be. He is hungry, with all the hate he has been getting, been working since December. Going to be about a year+ before he plays another game. Will be a different player and He is going to be fouled alot like Embiid/AD

Well lineup 2 is for sure a better health risk...I think I'd take the first line up in a 7 game serious today.

Why would Philly trade Embiid when he has 3 years left on his contract? Even if he asked for a trade they would just run it back and trade him when he has a year left on his cotract

Because Philly likes paying high salaries to Embiid, Simmons, Harris and Horford to get swept in the first round?

Did they decline to max out Butler or did he just bolt on his own?

That's the guy they should have paid, not Harris.

Josh Harris is worth 5 billion dollars, I'm pretty sure running it back and trying to see what a healthy playoffs would look like is likely, they'll change coaches and make some small changes imo

Philly is going to fire their coach, that may make them hold on for another year to see what the coach does with this roster, or they could blow it up.

Sure Simmons is a key player.

But they got swept. At best Philly gets a couple of games against Boston, Milwaukee, Toronto.

Not sure they even beat Miami with Simmons.

There's a bigger gap between them and the top 4 seeds in the East than they're probably admitting now.

Other than Embiid or Simmons coming out and demanding a trade, the coaching change will keep the two intact for now. Horford or Harris will be the ones they try to move initially.

Nobody is going to take Harris and Horford contracts without assets.

This is the third year of Simmons and Embiid?

They made the ECF but they don't have nearly the same team any more since Butler left.

That was probably their ceiling as a duo. If Philly had cap space, sure they could add complementary pieces.

But they don't have cap space.

What killed them was missing with Fultz and with Okafor. Two top 3 picks who were both busts, out of the 2015 and 2017 drafts.

Warriors targeting Pascal Siakam?

I like the video below on this. You guys may have already seen it.

Essentially, Warriors offer Wiggins and 2nd pick for Siakam. The Video talks of the Raptors having said they love Lamelo and would go all in for him. Wiggins would be returning home. Lowry is long in the tooth and likely winding down his career there.

The salaries would not match without more...but maybe Marc Gasol agrees to a sign and trade and its:
Marc Gasol, Siakam for Wiggins, Lamelo Ball (assuming Wolves don't take him).

Curry, Klay, Siakam, Green, Marc Gasol

Siakam is kind of Giannis light....seems like an upgrade over Wiggins...?

Thoughts?

We have't seen Wiggins play for us yet. Siakam has been very very underwhelming in the playoffs and he has the same contract as Wiggins. Like if Wiggins put up Siakms stats everyone would be asking for his head. #2 + Wiggins > Siakam in my opinion. I need to see more of Siakam to be convinced otherwise

Siakam is way overpaid. Oh, and there will be no sign and trade for Gasol or anyone else, Warriors payroll is too high.

The Warriors would trade Wiggins and the pick for Siakam in a second. And the salaries do match if they wait until the new league year officially starts. So the Warriors take Ball and agree to the deal
and then wait a week to make the trade official.

The raptors wouldn't do it.

Edit: And As I've written above in another post Siakam has been terrible and I doubt he has much room for further improvement. We'd be giving away 2 potentially good players for us for a mediocre player(if his play continues) which I doubt the FO do it

If Philly does break up the Simmons/Embiid duo, it's gonna be Simmons that they trade. Would anyone trade Draymond for Simmons? I figure they don't belong on the same team so swapping them might make sense. Philly would want more so GS would need to include a the 2021 Minny Pick and the option of a Wiggins/Horford swap
Is a Curry/Klay/Simmons/Horford/Wiseman starting lineup better than Curry/Klay/Wiggins/Green/Wiseman lineup? I don't know? What if Philly doesn't want the Wiggins/Horford Swap, Would Curry/Klay/Wiggins/Simmons/Wiseman be better? Thoughts?
