skate better play friday or I'll be upset! he will be fine! in fact, he's going to bust some heads on Friday like he did after the game was taken from him last season when he came back a monster! I hope Rob does the same. when you can't play the game u love and you don't really KNOW when you'll be able to play again, it probably keeps you from taking it for granted when you get to do it again.

edit: romeo langford may never play again. for real, where is he?

so, Nesmith shouldn't be on the list, I see no change in his status. He probably has a bad back from all that sitting.

On Langford, I just don't know what to say. At this point I gotta start making assumptions, I don't think Langford is a hard worker. It's either that or he has been hurt again. I don't see him working in the background of practices or hear him getting close to it at all! What the heck man?!!!

FWIW, he was taking shots during pregame the other night. So maybe he's close to getting back on the court. And by "close", I mean February 2024.

He's just injured, plenty of young players are injured to start their career. I see no good reason to rush Langford back, if he's going to be a rotational player this year, better to let him get to 100 pct and work on his weaknesses like his jumpshot in practice. He played through the hand injury his entire college season and then initially played through this wrist injury in the playoffs so I don't think he's necessarily lazy or anything.

Maybe he'll always just be one of those guys who will always be injured or maybe it's just a few little things in a growing body for now. He had the surgery in September and it was reported as 4-5 month ETA from there. For a guy whose biggest weakness is his jumper it's pretty unfortunate that he had this specific injury; he can't really afford to lose range of motion in his wrist. One on hand it would be nice to have th added wing depth, but also, if he's going to be a top 8/9 rotational player on this team, I'd rather get him at 100 pct for the second half of the regular season+playoffs instead of rushing him back even one game early.

Bojan Bogdanovic had the same injury diagnosis and he missed May to December, though maybe he could have come back earlier if the season started like a normal year. Small sample, but his shot is off so far this season. and that's after seven months from surgery to first game back. I'd give Langford until the ASB before I started to worry about it.

Some Stevens quotes helped me better understand what is going on.

1. COVID-19 survivors are at significant risk for permanent cardiac damage.
2. Consequently, if you have the disease, you're not allowed to work out.
3. Consequently, when you finally are deemed to be clear of the disease, your muscles are out of shape, and you need to be brought back slowly to avoid injuring them.

Only a couple days?

That would be best case scenario. Looked much worse. I hope he is alright.

I'd like to see if Tatum is playing, and what's up with Pritchard and the other Injuries.

Dang Tatum must have had it worse than Rob. I thought they said Rob had a tough bout but he missed one game after being cleared (I think). Don't rush Tat back but I'm scared and -WORDS- COVID!!
