Can he score? No

Is he going to be 36 in a couple of months? Yes
He's trash. He never even was good. Now that he's an old man, he provides nothing at all.

Defensively this doesn't make sense either, without Harris we don't have a traditional PF, unless you want the corpse of Mike Scott there, and will force you to put Ben on that spot. Which also means he would be forced to guard the second big guy on the opossing team and make you lose the flexibility to put him on guards like Lillard or Doncic.

He is coming back from injury and is still only 31. He could be washed but we've seen guys like Hayward and others take time and then come back and be productive.
He is worth a look to see if he can at least function in a reduced role. I'd rather take some chances on guys then sign confirmed scrubs or guys old enough to collect a pension like Tucker or to the point we don't have a choice its like when we were about to sign Howard people focused on what he used to be instead of whether he was better then our current options for a limited bench role on a vet min deal.
If Griffin gets bought out there will be competition for his services among contenders and we will be lucky to sign him.

He's been on that long road back from injury for about 3 or 4 years now. The knee injuries killed him, he can't move anymore. Our bench is so bad though that I'm not opposed to the idea, but he'd be option like F. I'd sign a lot of specialists off the street before I rang up BG.

You can say that about Boogie but not Griffin 1.5 seasons ago he was averaging 25 and a All-Star I don't think anyone ever expects that out of him again but could he get to the point where he is averaging 12 to 13 points off the bench in a stretch role taking open 3s? I don't see why some of you pretend like that can't happen or not even willing to take a chance. Our bench is complete trash and he'll take the vet min to sign
He's well worth the look. Of course if someone else better comes available you sign them but this is usually who you have to pick from

But his ball handling is really bad so is his ability to create off the dribble. It’s Andrew Wiggins robotic movement bad.
And because of this I do think he is a good player, a winning player but his value won’t be as high as what it is right now and I’d like to use him to be a bridge from what we are right now to what we want to be.
Alternative is to look at the usual suspects, Ben and Tobi.

That's a strong starting five. Seth on the bench gives us a great shooter, along with Shake, Matisse and Dwight. Now you don't need to rely heavily on Furkan.

Maxey is a key longterm piece for us as a rookie contract creator. Getting rid of him now just because he's not playoff ready in year 1 would be a huge mistake, IMO.
Also, that's a pretty steep overpay for an expiring contract like Fournier, who is not even a creator to begin with.
