What an unfortunate postseason with all the injuries
No chance for a "Ewing theory" game?
We're been seeing that theory on the Clippers for a while now

and how do you know about the MRI, besides we are not in his shoes right now. He knows his body better than us. Besides we are not doctors.

Maybe he should go out there and play maybe hurt himself more

Because the injury is reported as a “bone bruise.” That’s a vague way to say it hurts but isn’t structurally damaged. There’s no bone or ligament damage or it would have been reported as such.
If the mri showed anything it would have been him out weeks at minimum, not a “game time decision” where he tested it and chose against it.

It’s easy to say but for someone like him who uses his shiftiness to his advantage, constantly driving and putting pressure on defenses, that pain is probably unbearable especially for his particular style of play.
Harden played decoy, partly because this was his one shot at a ring and probably wanted to atleast lens KD moral support. Everybody else like Kawhi and Trae are probably sitting for their own good

Harden playing through soft tissue damage was riskier than someone playing through bone bruising. Its not an injury that is a risk of getting worse, like hardens was.

I just think calling him soft is unfair. Pain is probably too unbearable for him. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different

Led by who? Bogdanovic?
They beat them without Trae or Hunter in the Rs led by Bogdan

I see it every day, I work in injury rehab, I work with athletes. In my opinion, it’s a soft decision. There’s no risk of making this specific ailment worse, it just hurts while you’re doing it. Could it effect his explosiveness, yeah, definitely. But to not even give it a go, sheesh.
