It's pretty funny. I was lurking their forum after their last loss and they were talking about Brown the same way we talked about FVV, they hate him lol. Going iso into 4 defenders, low iq chucker, selfish...... sounds like senor to me.

Celtics fooled me man. They have such a deep roster. I have no idea what they're doing.

I honestly never thought Boston was well constructed. I would always look at their roster and wonder how they were so dominant.

Dude just came off a season averaging 27/7/4 on good efficiency while being a good defender that has consistently performed in the playoffs. It feels like some people are putting way too much weight in the last 2.5 games where Brown's three-point shooting has abandoned him and the entire Celtics team has looked out of sorts. Prior to this series, he was averaging 25/5/3 on 63 TS% in the playoffs while he put up 23/7/4 on 58 TS% in last year's playoff run. He has actually performed very well in the playoffs historically.

Brown is in a similar tier as Siakam (elite 2nd options and I think Siakam is the slightly better player overall because of his playmaking), but he is also 2.5 years younger and there is some more room for improvement. You more than likely can't win it all with either of them as a #1 option, though they'd probably actually work really well as a duo. It's possible the Tatum/Brown duo is playing its last games together and I'd love for us to go out and get Brown, but we aren't getting him for OG lol.

He has a net neutral career RTG in the playoffs. He is an AVERAGE player in terms of overall efficiency perceived as a superstar. He's a turnover machine who doesn't really get to the line a lot, rebound well or get stocks although his defense is alright.

I'm not sure how you've come to those conclusions. Brown has been a +4-ish NetRTG player in the playoffs his last 3 appearances and his efficiency has been very good over the same span (59 TS% on 26 USG% while scoring 23 PPG). He's not a superstar, but he's probably a top 25ish player and he still has at least 4-5 years in his prime.

Now take this into account... all this hatred towards jaylen brown... and objectively, he's still younger, more efficient, more athletic and more talented than fvv... and still you have people on this board that still think fvv is worth building around and a front office that still thinks he's the pg of the future... it's **** in San ity

Brown is a fake all-star just like our guys so it doesn't surprise me. Tatum is the real deal though.

Watching that weak ass call on Lowry a minute ago, and my first thought is:
Come on Fat Tony, he isn't a Raptor anymore.

I gladly trade FVV for Brown

Celtics is always fraud team and got lucky last year. Philly should of been the one in the ECF and not Celtics; just that they have a curse ass coach.

Where are YOU getting your numbers from? I can see everything I said right there on that page except the part regarding his NetRTG which is found on nba.com. Are you using Brown's BPM this playoff run as evidence that he hasn't been impactful in the playoffs throughout his career? Otherwise, I have no clue what you're talking about lol.

Never did I think Boston would collapse like this. I thought the title was theirs for the taking once Milwaukee was eliminated. Mazulla may be fired, and Brown/Horford will likely not return. End of an era for them. They may be looking back and saying ‘what-if’ in a few years like people did with Harden, Durant and Westbrook.

Nuggets-Heat Finals will be wild. Logically Nuggets should crush it but Miami can never be counted out. Will come down to Jokic vs Butler. Heat won’t be able to do anything to Jokic while Butler will tear up the Nuggets guards

I got to say, I'm glad to see so many teams with fan bases I don't like fail this year. Bucks, Sixers, Celtics, Clippers, Warriors, Lakers, Suns...

I'd gladly do a Brown Siakam swap but I highly doubt Celtics and Raps making an inter conference majorr deal like that

When was the last time the consensus favorite nba champions get embarrassed like this? They're about to get swept by the 8th seed.
