I'd have a hard time turning on the TV or getting to a game to watch because my entire apartment would be filled with vomit.

Sources say Magic, Warriors & Hornets are discussing 3-team deal that would send Ellis and others to Magic. Nothing imminent at this point

I just hope the Warriors aren't getting Okafor and the T-Wolves first in this trade. That would kill the Bogut deal.

Rumor from the GB:

- Warriors trade Ellis
- Warriors get Kaman

- Magic trade Anderson, Reddick, Nelson, Richardson
- Magic get Ellis and Ariza

- Hornets trade Kaman
- Hornets get Anderson and Nelson

Here's a hypothetical: suppose there was a three-way deal that involved Bogut, Al Jefferson and Monta Ellis, along with some other pieces.

Who's the best player in that trade?

If healthy, Bogut. Even if he's not healthy I'd probably say Bogut. I'd take him over Jefferson no matter what. It's closer with Ellis.

Good track record for what, exactly? Reporting trade offers that are so utterly ambiguous that his credibility isn't on the line whatsoever?

What has he called before? I'm actually curious.

This again? Really?

Yep. This again. Because, of course, I'd be asking it if I already knew.

Instead of responding like an ass, you could have just answered the question. Then, we could move forward. :)

Uneventful catchup, some hounding BP (thanks btw) and a few hanging onto every word from Bogut's twitter.

I like that trade for the Warriors. Kaman could help them a lot, and would bring a lot of what Bogut would have brought.

The Ariza to Nelson upgrade is significant for the Hornets too...but there is no way to separate David Stern out of the equation if their front office decides to make a move that would help the Magic keep Howard.

So it's an income risk? Not sure how I feel about that. It definitely means a second-tier veteran with an exorbitant contract (surprise!), but somehow that still seems better than an injury risk. It's also obviously a win-now move, but we all knew that.

BuckPack said NOTHING about position as far as I know, though. I don't know why so many people keep bringing up guards. That has nothing to do with it! Here are the clues:

1. Income risk.
2. Would make many of us happy.
3. BP thinks it's good for both teams.
4. No pick coming back.
5. Bucks are mulling the offer.
6. It's a team that wouldn't be in the playoffs if the season ended today.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

BuckPack wrote:If you don't understand why I can't post specific deals, well I can't help you. Bern said it quite reasonably a few pages back. I'm only posting if I can in some way positively contribute (be it to the fans or some vicarious way thru the franchise's long term sustainability here); I'm not going to firebomb a deal just because I want to be regarded as some internet "insider." If the Bucks wanted the deal out in the public, you can bet Gardner would have the story written. There's a lot of smoke out there for you to find the fire, but I'm not going to lead you to the torch just so that I can stoke my internet ego.

Once again and for all, I don't know everything nor am I suggesting anything close to that. I do not know every deal on Hammond's desk. For what I do know, there seems to be more accurate information out there in the public right now than I would have expected--but nobody has it nailed. Discuss that, not me and my motives.

I understand everything you're saying here, and I'm enjoying the little bits and pieces you're "leaking" because it's fun to speculate. But, I don't know why I should put any stock in what you're saying when it's so general, so ambiguous, and tethered to so many variables that your credibility isn't on the line whatsoever. You feel me?

Come on man. It's not that hard. If BP's buddy heard a deal that only three people knew about and it got out he could lose his job. It would have to be random chance that Gery heard the same rumor. Constantly pushing for more info is why we don't have more insiders than we do. Let it go please.

Seriously try The City Market, it puts Panera to shame. I threw Panera's chilli out after one bite, gross.
