It's pretty clear that the good old days to people like Ingraham refer to the pre civil rights movement days - if not pre Civil War days.

what about going back to a time when the USA dominated the globe in manufacturing, banking, trade, education, quality of life and opportunity...BUT...this time around making sure everyone feels an equality of inclusion and enjoyment. women, minorities, LBGTQ, Everyone feels good about the USA dominating those things and raising the bar for ALL americans. . Back to a time when less murders were committed? Back to a time when people were nicer to each other on the street? doesn't sound like a bad idea to me?

As far as Ingraham, she may pander to the religious right of her audience from time to time (and you would too with money on the line) but still...she adopted a daughter out of poverty from guatamala and extensively dated Dinesh D'souza and actively supports minorities of both liberal and conservative backgrounds on her show(s) (which include one of the top rated shows in prime time and 3 hours of radio every day) giving them a platform to launch their careers. Hardly the acts of a racist.

And yet, it's clear from her comments that she's a racist. What a conundrum!

That’s because if we can’t be civil. For example if Democrat leaders want to convince their base that everyone else in the world are racist and the base wants to believe it what can I do about it? And if the GOP wants to rile up their base to fight those empty claims by Democratic leaders and their base then what can I do about that as well? And if there still are some real and actual racists out there, what can I do?

But in the meantime I want to strong economy more jobs than people looking for jobs and wages to rise. Even if equality doesn’t appear to be on the horizon’s for the political purposes...and if the bases of both parties want to prolong the race wars because they think it helps them politically...if everyone just wants to fight and bicker with everyone else ? that’s fine I guess. Again, what can I do?

But if we are going to fight and bicker with each other anyway, let’s do so with a strong economy. When there are jobs for everyone. When wages are rising. With ue low across all races n genders.

And guess what?

Trump is getting all that done. Accomplishing all that. And yes I would symbolically vote for him in the next election. But I did not vote for him in the last one because he can’t win Illinois so I didn’t bother voting.

Hmmmm?

Maybe I will rent an apartment and move to Ohio or Michigan or Wisconsin in 2020 where ma vote counts, yo!

I don’t know these people. I have not interacted with an actual true racist for over two decades just being serious. I’m not denying that they don’t exist I’m just saying I haven’t seen or heard from one in over two decades.

He kind of glosses over the math on the left side of the equation. EL = c(C*R*IC) (capital*risk*intellectual capital). Where TL is also dependent on the efficiency improvements to the EL wich requires more capital, risk and intellectual capital. And then, in my opinion, the policies build on the equation fall flat.

And the tweet kind of gets it wrong as well - it isn't simple arithmetic - it is multi-variable inputs.

"massive demographic changes" isn't even a dogwhistle - it's just flat out racist.

Trump has been stalling on the sanctions as long as he could and now it appears he's throwing the towel in as his lawyer has admitted that he has committed collusion.

In addition, Trump lifted some sanctions imposed by Obama that were meant to punish Russia specifically for election meddling.
