Absolutely.

Saw the new one last night and thought it was fine. But I'm not some SW junkie and basically just watch them once and just look for an entertaining flick. It was certainly corny at times but aren't all SW?

I got the nice Miyazaki blu-ray box set. Movies are still one thing I like to own physical copies of.

One episode away from catching up to Mr. Robot and goddamn I'm glad I did. Where the hell did this all come from? As much as I loved season one, two and three were pretty crappy. There isn't a bad thing I could say about season four. I haven't given it a ton of thought except I'd figured Watchmen or Chernobyl would be the best thing I'd see this year, and I think Mr. Robot is considerably better. I'm blown away.

Agree, it’s got me rewatching the series. Enjoy episode 11, lot to think about for the finale.

Obviously there's many other things to discuss about ep 11 but as a side, the title sequence is **** amazing.

Just finished episode 1.The ballsack armor looks as bad as advertised  but Geralts swordplay is amazing.I honestly can't think of ever seeing anything better in a movie or series.

That scene at the end of the first episode is just insanity. I didn’t know how they were going to blend his powers/skills together, but they did a great job so far.

I don’t know if he’d even be interested in it, but they need to let Favreau be Star Wars’ version of Feige. Mandalorian is perfect and something as big as Star Wars should ultimately be in the hands of a fan who treats the universe with reverence.

Saw Star Wars tonight:
Spoiler:
-I guess I just didn't like the overall tone of this trilogy. Too many jokes, too melodramatic.

-Poe "Exposition" Dameron anytime he's flying something: "OK guys, now we gotta do X, Y, and Z'!"

-Pasaana. Yet another desert planet...

-The new droid looked like a hair dryer. I thought it was going to say "Conair" on the side if it.

5/10

Literally every Star Wars criticism makes me laugh. Looking forward to seeing the new one with my 7 year old.

Like to be a snob is immediately funny to me, but to be an intra-Star Wars snob is truly wonderful.

Star Wars has always been extremely corny. The trilogies in particular

Saw Star Wars. It was OK. I’m not a hardcore fanboy so don’t get all the angst about it. Story was pretty meh but some good sequences. I think overall the problem with the new trilogy is they weren’t brave enough with the story telling. It all felt a bit like a remake of the original rather than something new.

Eddie Murphy on SNL was fugging great.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”
