Not his fault, because the Raptors roster is built the way it is at this point in time, he got the bag and sees himself as 1A/1B in the pecking order. Once that high end talent comes in via the NBA draft, that will/should move the pieces to where they belong.
I love Senior, until he is willing to made adjustments and concede certain duties and his role on the squad, it is going to continue to be unnecessarily painful.
This was basically Jamal Crawford back in the day with the Bulls when he was coming up. Jacking up shats at a high volume because he had the ball in his hands often, yet could not really create and get his mates involved on a consistent basis.
Constant back and forth between Crawford and Head Coach Scott Skiles for a while over his role
Crawford carved out a long career as a sixth man.
Not on the Bulls though. He had to go to the Knicks and lose for a few more years (where he did both start and come of the bench for years) and to then finally get to the Hawks and become a sixth man going forward on winning teams. It took awhile.
Another thing to consider about Fred is he’s going to be 30 years old after next season. Idk if that matters to Masai but it’s worth noting.
Nah.
Senior is 28 already?!?!?!?!?!?
Forgot about Crawford on the Knicks
Edit: Senior turns 28 years of age in February of 2022.
